Honestly , I've gotten my hair straightened at another salon for 6 years straight , and it took 6 years for me to see the damage that the heat they used caused. I decided to cut my hair short and let it grow out so I wouldn't have so much heat damage . Once my hair had no trace of heat damage about 8 months later I decided to come to this salon since it was closer to my new home to get it professionally trimmed and blown out. Although my blow out was straight , i later discovered after visiting this hair salon one time that I got heat damage again. I feel like they do not know how to properly care for 4a kinky hair , and it feels as if my I get no heat protectant and they go over my hair with the flat iron about 5 times each section .
