“Food is 99% fresh, especially fruits and vegetables. They have a decent selection of seafood. They have a latinamerican section. Play is regularly cleaned and carts and shopping carts gathered on a regular basis. The best part is they open til 11pm and 365 days a year.”

“The prices of the groseries in this supermarket are a little higher compairing to other similar places. I'm from Queens, and I had had never been in the Bronx before. I was surprised that the dominican ladies who were working as cashiers in this supermarket were very polite and sweet with me ( I'm not Dominican). They actually were like that with everyone. The treatment was superior to the rude treatment I receive here in Corona-Queens.”

“A friend of mine was raving about Aldi. I had only visited a location in Connecticut (in or near Bridgeport). It is a smaller store so I didn’t get the hype. Found this one recently, very close to the highway and next door to an amazing Dollar Tree. The store was well stocked with a good selection of items. It was a little messy but this was on the weekend. The lines were a little long but they were moving. I will revisit in a weekday. Worth a visit.”

“First time shopper who is now a permanent shopper. The sales were awesome. I had accompanied a relative and had no intention on buying anything. But I could not resist the sales they had on many of the food items that had in stock. For example, 5 boxes of Jiffy Cake and/or Corn Muffin for 5 dollar. I could not walk past that. They have plenty of sales like that to be taken advantage.”

“This Western Beef is such a life saver. The produce and meats are fresh and reasonably priced. It is nice to have a supermarket in walking distance that has fresh and quality items as there are other supermarkets in the area that do not have the same quality. Definitely my go to for groceries.”

Or take the 2 or 5 train uptown also, get off at Prospect Ave, walk eastward about 2 blocks and there it is!This deli serves some of the best Dominican Food it deserves some recognition! Lunch plate $6, dinner plate is $8 they have a wide variety of dishes you can choose from regular beans and rice with chicken to the famous OX TAIL! They make your plate infront of you! Mind you they Jam pack the plate you probably won't finish it right away. They have a nice Piña colada smoothie! Ranging from $3 to $9 sized cups. A must go!”
