I POSTED A VERY NEGATIVE REVIEW YESTERDAY. IT IS NOW NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. I AM GOING TO CHECK BACK ON THIS ONE. MAKE SURE IT DOESN'T "DISAPPEAR" AGAIN!! After losing ALL my ID and bank cards I had to have my son wire me cash. He went on Western Union site and wired the money w/a test question. That's how WU operates when dealing with a non ID customer. I went to this place three times and every single time they told me that WU was asking for my ID. The first time I believed them. So my son cancelled the wire and the next day went into a WU location and had an agent help him to make sure it was correct. I go back to this place and for the second time they tell me WU is asking for ID. I had a screenshot from the WU website with their No ID policy. The girl STILL tried telling me that WU was asking for ID. I then call WU myself. I speak to them and verify that my son had in fact done everything 100% correct and that the money was available for pickup. They reiterated I only had to give them the transfer number and answer the test question. I go back to this place a third time. This time I KNOW the wire is good. Can you guess what happened?? Yup. For the third time in two days they lied to me again!!!! I told her my son called WU and was told the wire was properly sent. I called WU and was told the wire was properly sent. She STILL tried to tell me WU was asking for ID. She said my screen is saying you need ID. I am furious now so I ask who's system is asking for ID?? WU or your PLS?? She tells me WU!! So I said "you're telling me that if I go to another WU agent they will tell me the same thing". She said yes. So the morning of the third day I went elsewhere. I walked in and gave the control # and answered the test question. I was handed the cash. Took 2-3 minutes and I had cash in hand. So thanks to this place, and either poorly informed employees or flat out liars, my son had to jump through hoops and I had to survive in NYC with zero cash and zero access to cash for 2+ days!! Unbelievable!! Losing a wallet w/personal ID and bank/ATM cards is the very reason many people end up at a WU. This place sucks!! This is not the first time I've had problems with them. I promise you this. It will be the last!! If you want dishonest people handling your money this is the spot for you. If you're like most people however, you will probably want to have honest people handling your money! In that case cross this place off your list.

I got off of work last night to be disappointed by the stupid practices. It maybe because of skin complexion but I am in the system I cashed a check two months ago from a different job and normally don’t cash checks because… DIRECT DEPOSIT EXIST. Just so happens most jobs send the first as a paper check. The little girl at the counter first ask if I tried to cash the check some where else or ready because I had the earnings statement detached. What sense does it make to have the statement present when it has sensitive information. The fact that you can’t tell the difference between a scam and a legitimate working person is a testament to CHECK CASHING PLACES BEING AN OUT OF DATE WAY TO DO BUSINESS.

The employee's here are the best. They are nice,understanding, patient. I was being a jerk last time I was there and Anabel was very professional and patient with me. She helped me out and got the problem fixed If you ever need your check cashed this is the best place in the Bronx. Hands down!!!!
