My daughter went there today when she pulled up, there were a bunch of illegals hanging out one had blood all over his face and stared at her. It made her feel scared and unsafe. She went inside and mentioned it to the people there and their response was they make money off the returned cans from them so with that she left she called the Brewster Police Department and they responded with. We’re gonna have to send somebody to make sure he’s OK needless to say. I don’t believe she will be going there any longer. She has been a steady customer there for 10 years but there’s no reason to feel unsafe when you’re going to the grocery store. Nobody seems to care the store and the police department are totally wrong on this it used to be a nice little town, now there’s no reason to go downtown Brewster it’s disgusting thank you all the officials of Brewster when are we going to start to CARE? We want to support our local businesses but not when it’s like this I’m very disappointed in Kobackers It was one of my favorite stores no longer. They lost two customers today and I’m sure they will lose more as time goes by shame on all of you.

My late husband and I moved to Brewster in 1982 from Westchester.When looking for a grocery store I found Kobackers and have been a loyal customer ever since.They are the nicest owners and have the most wonderful staff...Great meat cold cuts fruits and vegetables and a taste from my home town JJ Cassone rolls .......I love ❤ when I can't get out the deliver service is Great all stores should have it

Over the past two years, We have catered our holiday dinners from Kobacker's Market and we have been extremely pleased. We are a Northern Italian family and good food is vital. We can't say enough about the food. It's awesome.

The store is packed, entrance is small, tight, not safe. Small selections for everything and they only have name brand stuff and yes you guessed it, they jack up the prices. My gallon of milk was bad, and staff just generally seemed like they did not want to be bothered. Produce is so over priced. Beware of the good reviews for this place. The 5-10 word reviews. There is no way this store ranks 4.5 out of 5 stars. Also note that someone from management never replies to any of the stores reviews. ?Kobackers could use a good cleaning, and the shelves are so close together. Just unsafe. I was disappointed to say the least.

My wife and I frequent this local Market because of proximity and politeness of staff and the Deli Dept guys are outstanding..Best sandwiches in Putnam County! But on Saturday January 29 we had a snowstorm that closed most retailers for the day...Kobacker's owner opened on schedule at 8am and stayed open with a skeleton crew all day till 9pm! That is true commitment to the Community!~ Above & beyond..
