Stopped in on the first day of Hanukkah for a matzoh ball soup and was treated to such a delicious pint of fatty-chicken broth and hearty, flavorful, comforting matzoh balls. Just what I needed! Coming back here for their soup again soon and some solid snacks.5 stars!!!

Sammy's foods are mostly really good but there was one bad experience my family had when we ordered 30lbs of wings for seasons Super Bowl game. All the wings were broken and bloody, and that is not the way any kosher store sells meats like that under there strict religious beliefs and requirements!

Thank you, David, our butcher at Sammy's Kosher Market for going out of your way to help us at this time of quarantine. The deli, chicken soup, prepared foods, chicken and meat are all first rate.and your prices are reasonable and fair. We very much appreciate you and the great selection at your market. We are new to the area and like your Kosher market much more than the ones in lower Westchester that we used for the last 35 years. Thank you! Joan Levy

I'll be honest, I wanted to like this place as the owner was willing to take the order over the phone and provided curbside pickup in such a crazy contactless time. However, since this is the first time I've tried this butcher instead of another kosher butcher in Westchester I was blown away by the extremely high prices, and the audacity to charge a "service charge" for when I drove 25 minutes to go pick it up? Plus, $9.99 per quart of soup, you would think it's just like your grandma makes it? Nope, absolutely flavorless. Unfortunately, I'll be shopping elsewhere moving forward. Bad decision on my part, but you live and learn right?

Extremely rude butcher with inconsistent quality meat. New to town where there is only one kosher butcher. Went there 3 times in the month and each time the owner was rude to me and most of the other customers in the store. Also, his meat is overpriced IMO, and I have found some of his meat to not be fresh at times. In the future I will be going to Trader Joe's where I know the workers are super nice and the meat is fairly priced and fresh.

I’m not a big meat eater. Sammy’s oyster steaks are so good that they’re my go to at barbecues.
