Mountain Tops Outfitters is a nice shop with a good selection of gear, making it great for hikers in the area. The staff is always helpful, especially when ordering out-of-stock items. However, customers have expressed disappointment over the absence of compasses, which they expected a local hiking store to carry. The shop also offers fast shipping and accurately delivers products, even hard-to-find items like specific shorts.
Nice shop, good selection. Great for most people hiking nearby. Clerk said they do not carry compasses. Disappointed since I had lost mine recently during a bushwack and was hoping to get a quick replacement. I'd expect a local hiking store to have this, especially since they sell physical topo maps and guide books.

They have a really nice selection of gear, and the staff is always helpful when I need to order something that's out of stock. They're the best small outdoors store around.

Fast shipping. Scoured the internet to find stock of the earlier version of Prana’s Zion shorts. Product deception was accurate and I received the old model as expected.
