I went shopping and when I left I found this unique and beautiful panorama, THREE Simultaneous RAINBOWS over BALDWIN PLACE, which announces the arrival of the summer holidays of 2024. NOW I KNOW THAT I LIVE IN BALDWIN PLACE! WHERE THE RAINBOW IS BORN!! !

Years ago I stopped shoping there after I realized that their posted produce prices were never what was charged at checkout...tonight I tried to buy something that was on sale but "they" already changed the price to reflect tomorrow's price...40% higher. Beware if you don't wan't to be robbed without a weapon!!!

Horrible service in deli area with roasted chickens. Woman behind counter was incredibly rude (nasty in fact) and sold me a tiny roasted chicken - the smallest I have ever seen - smaller than the smallest baby Cornish hen I have ever seen. Another customer was there who had a similar experience with her after me. He saw how she treated me and how she put the price on after wrapping it up for me. He was totally disgusted with her behavior. I told him I would submit a google review for us both! She sold us teeny tiny leathery chickens for 7.99+tax 8.69 each, and there was not enough meat on it to eat (thank goodness we bought bread -it was late at night after work and nothing was open) - horrible service and horrible chickens at stop n shop in Baldwin place rt 6 (area near road to Mahopac high school.) I will never go to this store again. Actually was a learning experience because right down the street I had an incredibly great experience at DiCiccos on route 202 in Somers NY - whose chicken was also 7.99 but was 5X bigger and incredibly delicious!!! Skip StopnShop and keep driving to Somers DiCiccos- worth the extra mile drive!!!

Stop & Shop was great. The store has a new look, and I found all the items I was looking for . What was even better was the fact that most of the items I was looking to purchase were on sale, which made my trip to Stop & Shop even more enjoyable. If you haven't been there, give them a try. You won't be disappointed!!

Well stocked supermarket but highest prices of all the chain supermarkets in the area. This is the closest supermarket to my home but I prefer Acme or best option Shoprite.

Rude/ 4 ppl in deli wrapping cold cuts for reach ins & had to wait w 4 other customers b4 we got help. Meat dept needs a class in " smile" & gen mgr shrugged when I said I was going on yelp " do what you gotta do".

Awful service for pick up of food. Undermanned. Disorganized. Polite but not capable of giving you a real time for when the food is ready. Their stated window for pickup time is meaningless. Don’t use this service for fear of total frustration. Have tried it twice to save time. Instead I waited 40 minutes the first time and 90 minutes the second time despite being told multiple times it would be ready in 15 minutes!!!

I'm disappointed with the renovation of the Somers store. Putting everything including meat behind glass is confusing and makes things harder to find. I assume this was a corporate decision that will be implented in all storesJust when I knew where everything was before, I now need to waste time looking for all the relocated items
