I think Riteaid is better than Walgreens. The store is clean Associates are more friendly. The atmosphere is comforting.

Pharmacy is ridiculous. Don't even care if your standing here. Prescription was sent from a different store since they didn't have it. The lady asked if she could help me then walked off and started talking without me saying what I needed to tell her.

Tried them for a while, but finally had to give up. One of my meds is a low-level "controlled substance" that I've taken for decades, I know the rules, there SHOULD be a 5-day refill "window", but Rite-Aid holds you to the EXACT day, per the Pharmacist I spoke to on Saturday. The problem is, we try to combine errands to the city, we don't go every day, it's never been a problem with the Pharmacy. The biggest problem is that they were out of it 30 days ago, so I had to exhaust my emergency supply last month and then they wouldn't let me have it one day early this month. I'm not sure if this is actually Rite-Aid's policy, or an overworked Pharmacist having a bad day, but either way, I've moved on, there are Pharmacies on almost every corner in Auburn, plus online is starting to look like a viable alternative, there's no reason to tolerate needless Draconian rules.

I came into town to get something specific that only Rite Aid in Auburn had and the store window hours said open until 6pm on Sunday and also on the website and when I had arrived at 5:40pm, both doors to get in were locked and the women on the phone had said they are closed. Makes no sense due to the fact they closed 20 minutes before actual closing time. I have worked for Rite Aid and we always had the doors unlocked until the actual time of closing. Never closed early , Not even by a single minute. Completely ridiculous.

This store is clean and well stocked with essentials. The employees are friendly. My wife had no problem picking up a perscription or receiving a Covid-19 vaccine there; she described the staff as "sweethearts." It does have a retro feel because of the derelict photo-station This is the place I stumble to in the evening when I need soda, over the counter medicine, or a pair of headphones. Dark Horse for the win! Still a bit of a rought diamond.

Simple easy I like the color scheme and it's always clean inside. They also don't add to many steps with your prescriptions as long as it's prescribed to you they don't fuss over it. (I've heard Wegmans makes you fill out forms.)
