This is a fine bookstore -- it definitely stocks the books for the classes at Bard -- but honestly, you shouldn't be buying your textbooks here. Buy them online, rent them online, just don't pay list price. That said, this shop is good for basic school supplies sometimes.

The Bard College Bookstore has an array of Bard gear, school supplies and snacks. They work directly with faculty to provide students with new and used books for the academic year ensuring each student is purchasing the correct edition and volume. Once finished with the class, a student may sell the book back. If you're in a pinch the bookstore probably has what you're looking for.

It's usually cheaper to rent from amazon but the bookstore has a pretty good selection of basic necessities and the student employees are always friendly and helpful
