Checked into a room that felt so dirty we didn't even want to lay down. It was dusty and slimey and the maids didn't even change the fully empty toilet paper roll on the bathroom so who knows what else they didn't touch. The room had a broken phone, broken lamp shades, and obvious damage from a recent leak in the corner of the walls.Moved to another room that was better.... But had black mold in the shower and overall a dated look.Thought we would try the hot tub after a long day of shopping and it was foul.No free breakfast available as mentioned in thier listing.Over all extremely disappointed in this property and the Hilton name it carries. 10/10 do NOT recommend.Nearby activities: Lots of nearby shopping for Canadians

Bring ear plugs lol the heater/AC machine is indeed loud. We had a perfectly OK night at this hotel, which seems to get a lot of traffic and yes some of the comments about cleanness are true (the carpets in the hall could use a vacuum because there is a lot of activity there but to keep it squeaky clean you’d have to have someone vacuum around the clock and I prefer my hall a little messy but mostly quiet) but a lot of comments here are way too harsh. The bathroom and bed were perfectly clean and yes the furniture is a bit outdated but I came here to enjoy life outside of the hotel room so it didn’t matter to me. It had the best rate in the area and I needed a place to sleep and a brand I trust so my expectations were met in that sense. What exceeded my expectations was the customer service. The staff members werelovely to deal with and definitely helpful with some of my weird requests. Sorry if I used the chat function too much lol but you were all great.

First night out of three and off to a terrible start. I would check out if I could but unfortunately am here with a large group. First off, they dont take cash? Tried to check in using cash and willing to pay a cash "incidentals" deposit. Nope. "We dont accept cash". Five minutes later "but you can pay cash on checkout for everything." So they take cash on check-out but not check-in. Smh! I have stayed in way better hotels and better rated and this is not the case. It almost cost me our stay and a waste of an over two hour drive.The hotel is older and is being masked as an upgraded one. The elevators are small, noisey and scary. The carpet in hallway is dirty, at least on 4th floor. The rooms are very small, run down and furniture is very dated. The room smells musty as well as the fridge has a smell. If you get a fridge. Apparently there is not a fridge in every room. The bathrooms are tiny and cramped. More of closet sized and the lock on the bathroom door works after playing with it for a few mins. Same on the way out of the bathroom. There is also no closet in the room. The "queen" beds are not queens. Smaller. Oh ya, our dated dusty phone also was dead and does not work. So yes this may seem harsh but first impressions are not good. I will update over the next couple days, hoping things get better.

I would give it a zero but there is no option for that so the one star will be for the soap they use. This place was advertised as a 4 star hotel ?? pool and Jacuzzi and fitness center were closed and no free breakfast I mean even 2 star hotels give you a free muffins I would have not stayed here if it wasn't for the fact I would not get a refund I will never stay at any DoubleTree in the country ever again this dresser in the picture you can tell has not been cleaned in a few years

Very friendly. But, the room was dirty, TV outdated, thermostat wouldn't work, WiFi was terrible, no free breakfast.

Booked this hotel mainly for the pool. Pool wasn't available and they refused to refund. Scam artists that are the scum of the earth.

Recently stayed at this hotel for a hockey tournament this past weekend as was very disappointed.We checked in Thursday evening and the front desk staff were rude and not helpful.The cleanliness of our room was mediocre and from the time of check in Thursday night to Sunday morning when we left not once was our room cleaned, restocked, bed made or linen changed. There was mold on the walls and ceiling of the bathroom.The pool was not heated and the hot tub jets were not working.Overall the stay at this hotel was not an enjoyable experience and would not recommend to anyone, this is certainly not the standard I was expecting from a Hilton hotel.

Rooms were tiny, tvs out of date, and you can hear EVERYTHING through the walls, but the location was nice though. Easy access to restaurants and the freeway.

Disappointment is an understatement.The manager was very unprofessional.Talked At guest with disrespect and had a very poor attitude from the start of her shift stating “ oh no not on my shift will people be hanging out” this was her attitude all weekend. Mind you there was a blizzard and we were trapped. They shut the pool down on the kids making none sense( false) accusations to justify their actions. Told us this is a business and quiet hours are at 8pm on the weekend. A security guy told my son he couldn’t go to get his father in the lobby because your not allowed out of your rooms after 10pm it was 10:08pm when I his mother asked him to get the charger from his father who was in the lobby. He returned to the room with no charger afraid to leave it because a Big Mean Man scared him. Unacceptable we are paying customers not homeless ppl your putting up for the night.We do a lot of traveling with our kids and have NEVER experienced such unprofessionalism. I’ve stayed at doubletree hotels several times but this is something that will stick with me before I book again. Do yourself a favor and pay the little bit extra to be treated with respect!!It’s a shame management treats guests this way and gets away with it. Hilton will go down if this is what they call management.

Great location for visiting UB. Excellent service. The only flawis The hotel is a little outdated and you can easily feel the tear and wear.

Great hotel, easy to get to. My go to when I visit Buffalo, stayed here multiple times. Easy fast check in. Nice pool area and gym. Great value.
