“The staff at Southwest Care Center Pharmacy takes the time to look at you as an individual and understand your needs. This is the first time in my life when I felt as if a pharmacist had my best interest in mind.”

“If you’re seeking a family friendly pharmacy your search is over. The staff treats you with respect. The second I walk in the door I’m greeted with, “Hello, Mrs. Alvarez” I get asked how my husband is doing and they show a real interest in my health. It’s very personable at this pharmacy which I enjoy much so. There are no 30 minute waits like the big box stores and their pharmacist Jason is always available to speak with you on any concerns you may have. I would highly recommend my local community pharmacy to all of Santa Fe!”

“It is frequently busy, since it’s the only Sam’s Club in Santa Fe, but the price of gas makes it worth it.* Just be careful when you’re pulling in. That parking lot is a sh*tshow at times.*Seems like the majority of people that come here don’t understand how to pull into the lanes correctly, but that’s New Mexico for you.The gas pumps are clean, and the grounds are as well. You won’t be able to get a snack, or something to drink, however. It’s just straight up for gas.Unlike a Sam’s Club in ABQ, this one *does* require a membership. They’re usually on sale on Groupon, or somewhere else so search for a deal before paying full price.”

“The only problem I've ever had at this particular Smiths gas station is one time I was down to my last 4 bucks and it was mostly change but not like pennies but dimes and mostly quarters and the guy was very rude and said he wasn't going to count it all out and I needed to roll it up but I told him it wasn't enough for rolls and it was only 4 bucks but he refused to take it while being very rude about it. So I went to the other Smiths station on St. Michael's and the woman took it no problem and didn't act like it was a big deal at all. I thanked her and told her how much I appreciated her doing that.”

“I got the best deals at Smith's which is why I go there, but for some reason it's not my most favorite place to shop. I've gotten into ordering my groceries online from Smith's. I like that better although last time they forgot the oil which was the main reason I got groceries. So I don't want to be checking my groceries every time I do it online order with them. But that's what I like to do the most either way. Best prices and so I keep going there. I understand that they're parking lot is pretty sketchy at night. I haven't noticed it myself that much. The parking lot is sketchy day at night from what I can tell.”

“We are grateful for this pharmacy and its employees. My child needed antibiotics late in the day... We first tried Walgreens; they were close to closing, and after making us wait 20 minutes, they eventually told us (very rudely) that we would have to come back the next morning. We then looked and found out that this WalMart Pharmacy is open 1 hour later than Walgreens. We rushed over and were told by the kind woman working, "Your child needs it, so we will do our absolute best to get it filled." And they did! And our child got well. Thank you WalMart!!”

“New to area last 2 years. This store has always had everything I've needed. Great produce and meats. Service has always been kind and friendly. A tall blonde lady whose name I don't know but always kind and friendly helping guest. I've noticed her several times over the last 2 years. Thought I'd end the year by thanking others for service. The fellas that cashier at night might not be super smiling but always seem to be fast and friendly and consistently working there. The store is clean and the different holiday decorations are very cute and inviting. Lucky to have this smaller but great store and great staff nearby. Thanks!”

“Although you wont find the food stuffs, cosmetics and household items you might find at CVS or Walgreen's, what you will find is fast and friendly service for your prescriptions or medical supplies. After coming down with the flu, it was really convenient to walk around the corner from the Emergency Room to pick up my prescription of Tamaflu. The lines at Walgreens have recently become insane. When you aren't feeling good, it's nice to be able to get your prescription without waiting at Christus Pharmacy.”

“I usually avoid CVS pharmacy BUT... the pharmacists and pharmacy techs that work here all go above and beyond. They are kind and work with you and your provider to get the medications you need. Honestly, I really like this pharmacy and I recommend giving it a try!”

“Extremely professional and efficient. A pleasure to deal with compared to my recent experiences at the chain pharmacies. Great customer service. They always answer the phone even if busy with another customer, and ask if it is ok to place you on a brief hold. You don't get that at Walgreens! Recently, 30 minutes before closing my wife's doctor called in a prescription for her flu and they rushed to get it done before the closed. They put the customer first. Bravo!”

“Our family utilizes Smiths pharmacy for our yearly vaccinations along with obtaining several of our vitamins and supplements. Julie, the pharmacist, always greets us with a smile and verifies that we're healthy enough for our vaccine shots. She very assuring upon giving the shot and follows up before we leave the store and later on in the day to make sure we didn't experience any side effects.”

“Thank you Pharmacy. Seems like lines everywhere for prescriptions.Fortunately I called and not put on hold for 30 minutes, like at Zia Walgreens.I was told I could pick up my prescription in an hour. Line short wait of 5 customers, instead of at Zia Walgreens which I counted 20 and wait of an hour. All ways be prepared with book to read in line and have patience. They are really trying to do there best.”

“I had a flat tire on my way to Dallas from Santa Fe, NM. When I got back to Santa Fe, the Tire Team at Sam's Club was amazing. I was in and out in about 45 minutes on Thursday, May 18 - 12:10 noon - 12:45 pm. Great service from these young men in the department. Great Sam's Club perk to have free tire repair. The screw or nail puncture was repaired. Nice. Dave in Santa Fe, NM”

“To provide context w/some of the other Yelp Reviews, I'd like to share my experience with others. First, since the pandemic, there have been accrue labor shortages. This translates into those who work in nearly every service capacity, they are overworked, which means they are underpaid. Second, everyone of us has bad days, weeks even months. Have some grace, patience & some modicum for respect for what some may be going through today, or dealing with yesterday. Trying walking in another's shoes, before one passes judgement upon another. We're all doing the best we can on any day. Below is a key hair I purchased for a friend Yvette last month. Carpe' Diem, Pay it Forward & be your bothers keeper! Peace ~ SLV”

“We had some oatmeal and fruit earlier. We wanted a little something to keep us going. A muffin, yogurt and donut fit the bill. We were welcomed to use their cafe area to eat. Even though we didn't have a store card, staff gave us a discount. Thank you! Shared parking lot and WiFi”

“The drive thru pharmacist, Samuel, was so helpful! They hadn't started on our prescription yet, but he made sure there wasn't a line and filled ours immediately. So grateful I could get my son home and on his antibiotics a little sooner. Thank you!!”

“Typical Walmart. We Elites Don't get the low ratings from some reviewers: Maybe they'd never been to a Walmart? My better guess is they have personal axes to grind. Another reason to select Elite Reviews Only . I received good service, wonderful selections at reasonable prices. Pharmacy service was very prompt. Self checkout was easy, showing ID for alcoholic items. BTW: you can buy all hard liquor at Walmart any day and time, except Sunday!Minus One star for no bags! What's up with running out of bags?”

“Just needed help in a bad way, trying to decide whether I should risk missing my morning flight to Santa Fe tomorrow in order to get a prescription when my neighborhood CVS store opens. “If only there were a Santa Fe CVS!”There is, with a very, very helpful staff member. I no sooner confirmed the name spelling and birthdate than she was figuring out the best way to handle an out of state insurance issue. This is 10 minutes before closing, conscientious, gracious. I wish I caught her name.Meanwhile, another family member had the same idea and called another store, where the staff could see that my process was going forward. We’re all set!So happy to find my way there soon!”
