“If you're more interested in pumping iron than taking gym selfies, Mandrill's is the spot for you. I swung by for a couple of days while hanging with friends in the area, needing a gym to help sustain my powerlifting regimen.Mandrill's exudes an unmistakable old-school charm, a quality that undoubtedly constitutes its allure. They've got every weight machine under the sun, including some that'll have you scratching your head like, 'What even is that?’. Welded dumbbells maxing out at 155, Hammer Strength machines stretching into the horizon, cable/pulley machines in all shapes and sizes – you name it, they've got it. Mandrill's stands as a veritable treasure trove for weightlifting enthusiasts of any experience level.Martin, the owner, is super friendly and as welcoming as your grandma's kitchen. His passion for bodybuilding and keeping that 'old school' vibe alive might not click with everyone, but for those that appreciate it, it’s what makes this place special.”

“Love this place! I've been going here for a few months now after finishing physical therapy at Pure Movement (located in Santa Fe Athletic Co.). The owner, David, is very friendly and always makes a point of saying hello. The gym is fairly small, but it has everything you need and more, and it is rarely crowded! The membership rates are also very reasonable.”

“I've been attending the Santa Fe Spa since signing a professional baseball contract as a lefthanded baseball pitcher in 1986. In the winter of 1989, I flew south to pitch in winter league beisbol in Mexico and injured by pitching elbow. Thinking the worst, I returned home to Santa Fe and my orthopedic doctor placed my arm in a cast. Then I signed with a team in the New York-Penn League in 1090. I needed therapy and thats when I met Michael Hoerning at (Turquoise Trail Therapy) the Santa Fe Spa. In six month's he miraculously healed my injured elbow to where I pitched for another thirty-one year's, (pitching in 587 games for 200 team's, winning 459 amateur games until the age of 57!) Having a massive hemorrhagic stroke and going into month long coma.As the game of baseball was not at the top of my list as I was discharged from the hospital and started the therapy process with St. Vincent's Outpatient Sports Medicine & Therapy some twenty-one month's ago, I was reunited with Hoerning once again. We started and have maintained the past six month's together with what he's prescribed as NDT (Neuro Development Training.) In his words, " you need to crawl before you can start walking." So here we are today, some short six month's since our therapy started and he has be almost walking on my own, (albeit with the use of only a cane) a far cry from when I was using a wheelchair, to a walker, to a Hemi-Style walker, and now to using a cane.Once again I am starting to fly to be reunited with my Boston Wolfpack teammates and my new life goal is to one day make a comeback and walk back atop the pitcher's mound and do what I always did best in life, pitch a baseball...I owe it all to both Michael Hoerning, Tamara Lichtenstein, and the wonderful staff and ownership of the Santa Fe Spa for all they've done for me to allow me to again one day dream of pitching a baseball and beating the odds of healing and getting back on my feet and walking again. I was given only a 10% chance of doing this... But I'm going to not only beat the odds, I will pitch and win again. For "I am ALIVE!"Best regards,J. Rodney TafoyaAuthor of Ageless Arm~”

“This is a fun, enjoyable place to train at. The coach helps build your confidence in many different ways, and carries that energy with his students. Everyone can easily step in to motivate each other, because it's a place you feel you belong. It's a place that makes everyone feel comfortable. I've never before felt this encouraged to keep up with my goals. Thanks, Ruben and Jennifer!”

“This gym is absolutely gorgeous, with natural light and all equipment imaginable! It's been a wonderful find during my recent visit to Santa Fe. I highly recommend a visit here, whether you're local or in town for just a few days. I've had a few training sessions with the trainers and they have been inspiring! Also check out the vitality lab and if you're adventurous enough, take a cold plunge! 10 out of 10!”

“I really like this fitness center. The cost to have access to everything within it is well worth it. There's a great gym, great swimming pool, free weights and treadmills. There are yoga and aerobic exercise classes. The locker rooms are nice and have showers.”

“i enjoy coming here. it's a little run down, the pools are a little stained, and the chlorine's pretty strong smelling... so people who like things perfect might not like it as much. but the people are great, the mood is chill, and you can almost always get a lane. and the therapy pool is wonderful.”

“Just finished traveling the US and this was the best planet fitness shower we found. Other locations should be set up like this one, with the (un)dressing and shower as one area.”

“The attractive lady there was very helpful. I think she was the manager. Lots of weight machines. I think it was pretty decent. The parking lot on other hand, that's a different story but can't blame the manager for that. Google Maps was slightly off on location, it's on west edge of building.”

“I went as a guest, sadly the price to be a guest went up since the last time I was there which was odd because the facility got smaller. Since there was plenty of equipment and space to workout I'd still say it's worth it. Very clean and inviting gym!”
