Mikal Moore of Dotfoil reorganized my crippled computer after I seriously botched a number of apps. It took several home visits, but he eventually got all the parts working together. My only complaint is how difficult it was to get in with him. He's a very busy guy. Be patient. He's worth it.

Pretty weird set up. Online and in their logo on the website it says computer sales and repair. Went to the door , locked and rudely met by a guy that insisted he only does repairs. Thats fine, but on your Google listing and website it says you sell computers. When I get a computer I will not be using this store for repairs. ?Bad service, bad presentation, sketchy set up.

Santa Fe is going to chew this mike up and spit him out. This guy comes to our town. Opens up a computer business which is locked. You try and call them and a lady leaves a voice mail that we should get a call back. No one calls me. I was told that this owner texted me and texted. I had gotten no texts. This owner had my computer for 11 days and I took it home not fixed. DO NOT use DOT FOIL. In my 60 years of living here I have never encountered any business run like this. The doors are locked. There is no way to communicate with any body at the location. Communication is half of the businesses success And you have no ways to communication. Buena suerte mike hope you can figure out

BE AWARE - I've used Dot Foil for years and in the past - and LOVED them. Post Covid the business was sold to an employee and things have changed.I NEVER write poor reviews EVER. And if you're ok with leaving your computer somewhere where you will have no communication - no receptionist or other employees (just owner), no open business hours, and you're not in a hurry to get your computer back - try them out. But be aware this is not your typical business practice.Details below:- This business does not have open office hours - once the computer has been dropped off by appointment, there is no way to walk in and ask any further questions or concerns - doors are locked.- If you leave your computer there and need to get in touch with them its absolutely impossible to get in touch with anyone. They do not have a receptionist who answers calls or returns calls. You are told to leave one message and only one, and they will get back to you. Good luck with that.-The date you were told the computer would be ready - its never ready. When they say it will be ready which ok I get it - BUT CALL THAT DAY to communicate with your client to let them know whats going on, rather then calling 5 days past the date it was supposed to be ready, to then tell them it will be another 4 days.-Do you have a question about something they did to your computer once you get it back? You leave a message - three weeks later, still no call back....I'm still waiting....

Phone was hacked ,stuff was stolen out of it that can never come back . So down & out thought phone was a paper weight but this dude turned my life around when he handed me my phone saying that it was good to go bro. Got my phone working now it's back to twerking..

After my HD crashed on my older MacBook Pro, I took it to Dotfoil to see if my info could be salvaged. The techs at Dotfoil were unable to assist, as the HD was too compromised. Needing a laptop for my business, I purchased a refurbished 13" MacBook Pro from Dotfoil in September of '22. From the start, I had problems with the laptop shutting down intermittently, and not holding a charge. I took the laptop back to Dotfoil for evaluation and repair. I had insisted it was the battery was the source of the issue. The techs ran diagnostics and said there was nothing wrong with the battery, and hd "corrected" the issue by opening the case, unplugging the battery, and therefore "reset" the battery. I was also instructed not to overcharge the battery, nor let the system battery power drop below 20% (??!!). Soon after, the system started doing the same thing. As I was preparing my taxes for the '22 year, the system repeated the shutdown issue again several times, and not being to reboot or power on until 12-24 hours each occurrence. Frustrated, I took the System back to Dotfoil, only to be told I should have exchanged it within the sales warranty period, and there was nothing wrong with the battery. I then took the laptop to Synergy Tech to check/replace the battery. They immediately reported the battery was swollen and was corrupted. They replaced the battery and called me to pick up the laptop and give it a go. To this day (4/23), I have not had a single issue with the system. Please beware of the "service" offered into looking into a problem with your computers, by Dotfoil. They were obviously in err With their diagnosis, and unable to locate and fix the issue in a computer they sold me. Let alone not standing by their warranty, they were very unconcerned with the issue. It looks like they have since shut down their store/shop, and are only doing call out service. Good riddance. I will not use the unprofessional and shoddy business practices of Dotfoil, and will refer my clients to either the Apple Store in ABQ, or Synergy Tech, for battery and diagnostic PROFESSIONAL service.

Mikal has given me great service every time I needed help. Remote and Field support is a service Dotfoil offers and it comes in handy if you need help but don't want to leave your house.

Very positive and supportive experience with Dot Foil and Mikal both in store as well as at my home getting set up with my new MacBook Air. I am intimidated by tech stuff and found the thought transferring the contents of my ancient MacBook and starting with a new device overwhelming...but with Mikal's help the transition was seamless and any subsequent troubleshooting was explained so clearly. I've tried other tech support folks for less money but they ended spending a lot more time and weren't as knowledgeable so I suggest starting out with Dot Foil—efficient and high quality customer service!
