“Stopped while traveling to try their burritos that everyone talks about. We tried the hatch green chile burritos. They apparently go thru them because the counter was fully stocked, and they were making more. They were good, but since they are deep-fried, we could only have 1.”
“I had some pizza before I shopped plenty of selections for food. Overall, the place felt like a warehouse full of stuff found everything I was looking for eventually maybe a map would be easier for navigating the place The employees at the exit checking receipts remind me of the regular store”

“Nicely convenient near the Taco Bell and it was nice that it took the FRN card, especially since the lowest grade gas is 86 octane. For my car, I had to use middle grade for the right octane level.”

“Great store the evening shift is really nice the dayshift she’s kind a blunt not talkative. They do have a sign hanging down about the gas fill up that is kind of dangerous. They said they’re working on it.”
“We noticed we had a gas leak on our propane tank that had just been filled the end of June. We called Cortez Gas first thing this morning and they were here within about 15 minutes. Frank and Albert were courteous, professional and found the source of the problem quickly. They worked hard to make sure it was repaired properly! Very pleased with their customer service!”

“I visited this store on a late weeknight and had bought some eggs, jalapenos, and tomatos after calling to confirm if this store carried those items. The lady who answered was very kind and friendly, which I think Southern NM is known for. When I got to the counter with my things, I asked the male cashier if they had any avocados but he explained to me as to why they hadn't had any. I'm surprised at how informative he was.On another occasion, another late weeknight, I walked into the store to purchase a dark chocolate bar. Unfortunately, payday hadn't come for me yet so I had to bring my quarters, nickels, and pennies. The woman at the counter was patient to watch me count out the change. I am currently living in washington and craving such a treat and Gabby resolved me of all my struggles. “Friendly staff and low gas prices! The clerk even offered to come out and pump my gas! I did ask about using air machine, and was told it belongs to an independent contractor not the gas station itself. Due to this, I was told to use at my own risk, because they cannot offer refunds.”

“Nice convenience store in Roswell, New Mexico. We were traveling with friends, and they were pulling a trailer. It can be very difficult finding a gasoline convenience store that will accomodate our ride. Fortunately, this Stripes store worked well for us. While our friend filled up the gas tank, the rest of us checked out what the store had to offer. Restrooms were pretty clean as was the store itself. Lots of selection of drinks, snacks. and other goodies. Overall, I'd recommend dropping by this Stripes store if you are in the area.”
