Do yourself a favor and shop online or with a real Sephora because this place is a joke. This store is honestly a waste of space inside JCPenney. The hours of operation are wrong, they can't take returns on "standalone" Sephora stores, the employee told me I'd have to go to El Paso in order to return my items, and the store does not have anything in stock other than very limited colognes and makeup brands that hardly anyone has heard of. KVD makeup was the only recognizable brand, and even then it was very limited. Literally everything in this location is a disappointment and embarrassment. Seriously, go to Ulta instead

They never have anything in stock, the girls are so rude and unprofessional. They have no idea what they are talking about. I had to take a foundation back twice because they color matched me wrong. I finally asked for a refund, and took my service to Ulta. Ulta was so much better. Do not go here unless you want to deal with rude girls.

The store is great but the customer service needs to improve. The girls that work there are not friendly, they ignore you. The guy was very pleasant and knows how to treat customers.

I used to shop at this store all the time in El Paso and I was excited that they had one in Las Cruces, I came in and saw they had a sale going on for some brushes I picked one up and the friend whom I was with informed me of another sale going on online so I put the brush back on the counter. An employee confronted me about the brush and was headed in the direction of me "stealing" in front of a crowd of people including the friend I was with. Once I saw she had found the brush she processed to talk about me to another employee and I confronted her and let her know that was inappropriate in the work place and that I saw she had found the brush. I was extremely offended but most of all embarrassed. I will not be returning to this store if I could give it zero stars I would. I hope they don't do this to anyone else.

I’m being generous giving them a one star! I was in the store for almost 20 min looking for a new foundation and not once did either of the two unprofessional staff members come and ask if I needed any help! There were about 5 other girls looking around and ended up walking out like I did! The staff that was there before was friendly and acknowledged every single customer who walked in! These girls, because they think they know makeup more than the customer, are unprofessional and rude! One of them was on the phone and looked straight at my and not once did the light bulb in her head light up” there’s a customer!” I walked out and decided to go spend my money at Ulta and not give these snotty girls credit for my sale. With so many bad reviews and me not being the only one you’d think the manager would do something about it!!

Basically what ALL the other reviews are saying. Someone needs to reach out to Corporate or nothing will change. All Sephora's are not like this. The ones in El Paso are very good. Its truly a shame what this poor service in Cruces is doing to the brand.

Wow. I thought it was just me. Terrible service at this store, it is always messy, and they never have what I want...I've been told multiple times to just buy it online, so that's what I do now...saves me tons of money in impulse buys.

The sales associates at Sephora in Las Cruces are rude and not very knowledgeable regarding the products. Their product is always low or out of stock.
