Placed an order online after having to read the "you will be charged the convenience fee if you use your card when you pay". I agreed to the terms placed the order. Received a text delivery will be made between 12/30 & 1/5. Well apparently it was a "missed delivery". Didn't find out until I called the call center was on hold for 30 minutes with no resolution. I receive texts when I place my order and when a statement is available but NOT when I place a please call note on my order or when there is a "missed delivery " whatever that means. The call center could not answer what that means or when they can deliver or if the local office could call me. Pretty much no one here wants to work but wants to get paid. Finding a local provider and recommend everyone do the same. Horrible do better. People are your customers on hostages.

How after a year of service do you all of a sudden not have my delivery location? ESPECIALLY when I am asked to verify the delivery address and I do, then it magically disappears? How does that make sense at all?! Then I have to spend an hour being transferred all over the place trying to fix your mistake? Then you charge well above every other company around us. It’s like jumping through hoops to get anything done! Plus the waiting to get the propane delivered. If it gets too low you charge me for you taking too long to deliver. I always request a delivery around 50% and then it’s weeks before anyone shows up. Horrible customer service.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! There is an absolute lack of respect and decent customer service. I was lied to about the promo code I used, one of the people I spoke to on the phone muted herself so she could stop talking to me and then when I called back another person said they were having phone difficulties although you could clearly tell they were lowering their volume and pretended to cut in and out, I immediately called back again and suddenly the phones were performing perfectly. I canceled my service afterwards and was told I would receive an email confirming my cancellation and I have yet to receive that email and I’ve called and asked about it twice. When I first established my account with this company it was with someone on the phone here in the states and the conversation went excellently and I felt genuinely cared about as a customer and taken care of, then about a month or so later I called to schedule the fill up of my tank and it sounded like a call center in another country, it was a bit difficult to understand them and they only read from the script given. Thanks to the outsourcing of the call center there is a language barrier and an absolute lack of sincerity and understanding. I will not be using this service ever again and would rather pay a higher price for better services.

I paid for my propane tank in early 1990s. They say they have no record from Ikard Newsome. Also my bills have been inconsistant for years (online says one amount, bill in the mail says another amount, phone call with Amerigas says a third amount). I have called, written, gone by local office many times in the past. NO ONE has ever responded. Amerigas has ripped me off for years!

We're both in our sixties and when we needed to level up our propane, we opened an account and placed an order. We received great service from AmeriGas, who was able to deliver our order before a big winter storm hit our area.

Why does this company charge $535.00 for 120 gal of propane. Just realized that my neighbors are paying $2.45/gal while I'm paying $4.45/gal. This is ridiculous. Now I have to use up this gas before I can change to another company. They take advantage of elderly people who might not pay enough attention to what's happening. What a shameful company.

Amerigas is a horrible company. They started charging us $115 a year for a tank rental because we didn’t order enough propane for the tanks size.The tank we had to start “renting” looked like the original tank that the house had installed, when it was built in 1983!! The tank was rusty, it didn’t have any logos, and I wouldn’t have paid $115 to own the tank, let alone rent it! When I called to ask them to pick up the tank, they said it would be 200+ dollars to remove the tank. I used my backhoe and put it on the side of the county road for them to retrieve. This was the fastest amerigas has done anything for us as a customer. Guess they wanted that rusty tank so they can rip off someone else. FYI, every time I called it was never someone local, had to play the runaround game. We switched to Arrowhead propane!!!! Everyone should use them, they charge you by the gallon for propane, that’s it!!! No hidden fees/ surcharges. They have amazing customer service, and you will talk to someone in the 4 corners when you call.
