“What does Allsup's mean anyhow? Is there a dude named Jonathan Allsup who started it? Is it "All Supplies?" "All Suppers?" "All Suppose?" "All- 'Sup?!" This one sells gas- it's all that cut stuff from NM with a lower octane rating than the good stuff we get in Texas. They have their famous burritos here, and the drinks in New Mexico are called a "Tallsup." They play country music on the radio which always seem to have a good beat. The gas pumps were clear of litter. The pump I used had a sticker picture of President Joe Biden saying, "I did that" while pointing at the gas price on the pump. The gas prices were high, but considering the desolate nature of this store's location, it's to be expected. I appreciate how most, if not all the gas pumps at Allsups are covered, shading drivers from the elements while you pump your gas. They might not have a parking lot, but they seem to generally have a cover.”
