I’ve been going to this Smiths for years. I don’t know what the person running the self check-out area’s problem was but the stressful moaning and groaning they were doing every single time a customer appeared was extremely off-putting. I would reconsider putting them in front of customers if that is how they are going to continue to act.

I was in The Pharmacy this morning to get my flu vaccination. The gentleman employee -- I assume he was the pharmacist -- was very nice (and he gave me an injection that didn't hurt!). However, his female assistant was another story. Typical kid in her 20s who has no manners -- I was just an interruption as far as she was concerned.. What I found very amusing though: I'm an old woman. When a male customer (30-ish?) appeared at the front desk of The Pharmacy -- and she was SO nice to him. Same with the men who showed up at the exterior window. LOLOLOLOLOLOL So -- if you're a woman over 40 -- find another Pharmacy. smh

My fave grocery store! Always stocked, clean, great employees, prices are fair, great sales ... Other good stores in town but this is worth a little extra drive.

The Smiths on Academy is the best Smiths in town. Excellent online orders. Super customer service. Rarely out of requested items.

The one on Academy is nice and the people that work there are friendly.
Edit: I don't like doing this, but sadly felt the need to knock this review down a bit. I understand the person at self-checkout has to keep an extra eye on people that are stealing. The lady working the front with the long/salt-pepper hair, for whatever reason, felt the need to micro-manage (and was a bit gruff about it) my every move while I was checking out and questioned me a few times if I've scanned an item or not. This store is usually a lot more friendly. Again, I totally get though the uptick on people stealing.

Ordered grocery pickup here and almost all produce was on the edge of going bad and I was also given completely wilted spinach. There was zero care taken. Awful to be charged 97 dollars and everything that wasn't boxed was bad. This place sucks.

Wow. "Christie" with the purple hair apparently doesn't know how to check out customers. When provided a phone number for a fresh values account, she does not apply it to the transaction and you don't save a dime. Worse yet, when you get all the way home and review the receipt and see you could have saved $30. You call the store. Get transferred from person to person only to be told you are SOL unless you bring everything back to the store. Completely absurd and unacceptable. Don't go to this store, or Smiths for that matter.

Clayton with Smith's pick up was phenomenal. Bags packed well, he put everything in my car in a very mindful way and he was very friendly. 10/10

Jennifer older white lady at self check out is always very rude, always complaining about management and how they don't have any hours she make you feel very unwelcome when you are doing business here. if I see her in self check out I will go out of my way to go thru a regular line if open. Today unfortunately there were no lines open so had to go thru self check out she see's I have alcohol and I can read her lips as she is slow walking over to the check out stand complaining about having to do her job. If she hates this job so much please let her go your customers would be better off and I am sure coworkers would be happy as they would no longer have to deal with a negative nelly

Today I had a terrible experience at this location. While checking out at the self-checkout, I encountered an issue with my payment method. I asked for help voiding some items, and the associate, Yvette (SCO), was extremely rude and unprofessional. She reluctantly assisted me, complaining about technical issues and her long day, without apologizing for her behavior. Another associate had to step in to complete the transaction smoothly.
I rarely write reviews, but the customer service here was unacceptable. This experience has significantly impacted my perception of the store. I hope management addresses this issue to improve customer service in the future.

The employees are very nice and helpful. Plan accordingly, checkout lines can sometimes be long.
