This place is so ghetto and falling apart. First off the smoke alarm keeps beeping due to the battery needing to be changed. Not only are the shelves a mess but they’re empty. Theyre even selling things they can’t sell cause the “penny” things people are doing. But then they don’t take it off the shelf after they tell you they can’t sell it to you. Things are piled on the floor. I saw cases on water bottles on the floor fallen over. The one employee was blasting loud music on a Bluetooth speaker from his phone. He also barely handed me my change back just very slowly dropped it in my hand in the air then my thing I brought wasn’t even handed to me, it was tossed somewhere. Seems like they’re just getting paid to hang out in here.

The manager Shayla is the most unprofessional person I have ever seen in a retail environment. She is ignorant and always on her personal phone while engaging with customers. I don’t care about how I get treated but when my mother goes in there to spend money, I expect her to be treated like a paying customer should be. This is inexcusable and I want to speak to someone from corporate.

Love shopping here over Walmart, prices are way better then the box box stores on all the same name brand things. Staff is super friendly and welcoming too!

I like this store because they carry alot of the items I purchase in other stores that stopped carrying them and they are cheaper in Family Dollar. It's a clean store and the employees are friendly.

Although the staff follows the COVID-19 Mandatory Face Mask Policy, many customers don't. I'm a frequent shopper at STORE #01386 at 529 Evergreen Ave, Woodbury because of its convenience, however I may have to start taking my business elsewhere.There's a LOT of customers (especially kids and young adults) who simply walk in... shop... hang out... etc. and don't even wear a mask. Or if they do have a mask, it's worn on the chin. Covering your chin does not constitute a face covering.I've even been in line when other customers point out to the staff "you know wearing face coverings is mandatory"? Of which the staff often respond with "I know, but if you say anything to these kids, they often look at it as an opportunity to start a fight".In my opinion, if the employees are afraid to enforce the rules, or are afraid to report this to management, then they're just as much at fault at helping the spread of COVID as the customers are that also refuse to wear face coverings.Since the store is covered in Security Cameras, I see no reason why Management doesn't watch the footage and get involved before someone eventually contracts the disease and simply places blame on Family Dollar for not adhering to State and CDC rules.
