My son had his 5 th birthday at Satori. We were absolutely pleased with everything! Sensi Jose was wonderful with the kids and Loretta was so attentive and helpful. I highly recommend!

My son has been participating in the “Little Samurais” class for several weeks and it has been a fun, new challenge for him. As the parent of a little one, completely new to karate, I appreciate how welcoming everyone has been and look forward to my little guy continuing to build his confidence, grow strong, and make new friends! It is the best when he feels a sense of accomplishment during and after class!

We have been with Satori for a little over a year now and plan to be here for a while! Sensei Jose is great with kids and offers individualized attention that makes each student feel special; my son really looks up to him. All of the staff I’ve encountered are very helpful, and I’ve had a great time watching my child’s confidence grow!

Master Jose is the best!! Always comes with energy, passion and give specialized attention to all the students. A lot of other places just want to take your money and use a cookie-cutter format of "one size fits all" which is been proven time and time again to not work. The school is definitely different and you can sense that the moment you walk through the front doors. Great students produced by a great instructor year after year is not a coincidence! Try this place and you will not regret it! Best dojo I have ever trained in my life :D

Worst experience ever! My son attended this place no more than 3 weeks & we stopped attending due to personal issues. Instead of putting my account on a temporary hold, they billed me for 4 months, although they had no contact whatsoever with me. They are a scam/rip off!! I do not recommend, if I could give 0 stars I would!

I’ve been training with Sensei Jose for almost 2 years now and it’s been absolutely amazing! I share the journey with my 5 yo son and we both enjoy every single class. We sweat, we learn, we cry and we’re not planning to give up! Satori academy gave us opportunity to learn self-defence, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, kenpo and other mma styles. Great environment to boost your confidence and self-esteem! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

When my oldest was young, we tried another dojo first and it wasn’t a fit. We then tried Satori and can’t imagine going anywhere else. We have recommended Satori to no less than 6 friends that still attend!We have gotten so much more from Satori than just karate. My kids have learned focus, determination, patience, confidence, respect, fitness, and friendships... The lessons are so well done every day. Classes are a mix of warmups, karate skills, group chat of relatable topics, and team building games.Thanks for a great experience Sensei Jose!❤️ parents of a future black belt!

My daughter started at Edison in 2014 After we moved, we wanted her to continue her training at West Long Branch. She made a good transition. She really enjoys training as she's on her way from junior black belt to 2nd degree black belt.
