I take the Fit for Life class. Linda is an amazing instructor. She takes us through light aerobics and does an excellent job. Many of the attendees of the class are up there in age like me, but she tailors the class so that we can all make it through and get a thorough workout. I love the class and would recommend any retired person needs to get out and move around to take this class. The class is twice a week so you should be able to fit it into your schedule. Definite five stars.

About 5 years ago this place was nice. Today it's garbage. So many of the ellipticals are in need of repair. They literally stick and clunk. The womens only room is a freakin' joke. There's like 5 machines, no free weight equipment besides some dumbbells. The place has really went downhill, but they still are one of the most expensive gyms in the area?

Unfortunately, the Sewell Kennedy fitness center has seen better days. Cardio machines and free weights are old and run down. This gym has a lot of work to recapture premium gym status. My opinion, this gym is NOT worth the money. Do yourself a favor and skip the free trial.

Too much hassle to get a 4 day pass. Some people already work out and don't need the sales pitch. Let the person try out the gym to see if they like it WITHOUT the sit down sales push. I probably would have joined but No thanks.

Best place I've been to for everything the gym, physical & aqua therapy. I came a long way from when I first started here to now, and am very thankful. It's an single stop for all you need to take care of. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Good atmosphere overall, and it stays clean.

I bought a training package which was on sale pre pandemic not realizing the pandemic would be getting worse. I put my membership on freeze during the pandemic and never had a chance to use the sessions . When I recently went back to the gym and tried to use the package I previously bought, I was told they expired and will not let me use the sessions I already paid for. . How can they expire when I put my membership on freeze? Message here. Find another place to work out

I don't normally leave reviews but this place is absolutely disgusting. In every room. Even the pool is disgusting. The weights are never racked properly, the equipment is always dirty and grungy, the floors are disgusting, the bathrooms are a nightmare, the showers are gross, etc. This used to be my favorite gym pre-covid and what initially got me motivated to live a healthier lifestyle, but ever since they've re-opened it's been nothing but disgusting. This place seriously needs to be shut down. All the attached images are from one room (the women's only section) by itself. I tried to give this place another try but this was so disgusting I came in and immediately had to leave.

I am disappointed by the management team’s customer service. I purchased a living social temporary membership which required an appointment. I made an appointment with Jessica. She was not there for our scheduled appointment then insisted that I come back again during their business hours which is not feasible due to my work schedule. She left a voice mail and sent a text indicating that they definitely did not have a living social deal inferring I was lying. I sent her a copy of my voucher which she then verified but never offered an apology. I find it unprofessional that management does not know the current deals they offer, does not honor their scheduled appointments but insists a customer be inconvenienced by coming back during their business hours which are during the work day.

STAY AWAY FROM KENNEDY FITNESS!This gym has gone down hill significantly in the past 3 years. The gym positions itself as a high end facility charging as high as $40 to $65 per month. There are a few who pay less from infrequent special offers. However this gym is far from high-end. Please see the following:1) the gym is often dirty - Someone wrote “clean me” in the excessive dust just last week.2) equipment is significantly outdated compared to other gyms in the area that charge $10 per month.3) the facility does not maintain the equipment. More than a few machines are marked as out of order for weeks or months at a time. Also, other equipment doesn’t work and is not marked as out of order. Even after communicating that equipment is out of order, No out of order sign gets posted and it takes weeks or months for repair. Also, on cardio machines some heart rate monitors don’t work for long periods of time. Same issue with other options on equipment.4) Sauna is dirty and does not look like it has been cleaned in a long time. There are sweat marks on the wood where peoples head touch the wood. There is dirt on the floor and under the seating. Over the past few years the sauna has often been shut down for repairs for weeks at a time or the temperature is so low it is not effective. They should have maintenance contracts with vendors to repair within 24 to 48 hours. They should keep backup parts in stock for commonly replaced items.5) Jacuzzi/hot tub is out of service and not usable for days and weeks at a time. They should have maintenance contracts with vendors to repair within 24 -48 hours, but they don’t. The jacuzzi floor and seating is in disrepair. It requires acid washing and repainting. This is over due by years.6) the pool requires acid washing and repainting/ resurfacing. It is over due by years.7) water fountains have been broken for weeks at a time. The water fountain in the pool area has been and continues to be broken for a very long time.8) the number of group classes are far fewer than before COVID. No adjustment to our fees yet classes have not come back to pre COVID levels given COVID is stabilizing.9) many of the fluorescent lights in the ceilingacross the gym are out and require new bulbs for weeks/ months at a time.10)the management of the facility leaves a lot to desired. Members are not listened to as member feedback rarely gets implemented.

Good place to get it in... But if you are a person who needs the pool on a consistent basis.. Not the place..
