Don't trust your packages to this post office. Sent a package to Avon, CT, receipt show the correct town and zip code. When it never arrived I tracked it. Tracking shows the package was sent to TX. Customer service says 40 to 60 minutes wait time to discuss the issue. Really!! Never again!! I'd give no stars if that was an option.

Federal employees that don't understand the law. And will try to misquote the law to purposefully sic police on innocent butterflies. You are paid by our taxes to get fat behind a desk, do better.

Apparently if you're a butterfly, you're not allowed to film in a public federal building. You'd think if you work for the government, you'd know the laws and constitutional rights of its citizens.

Never had an issue at this post office. They’ve always been helpful with all my questions and I usually wait no more than 5 minutes.

So it's been two weeks since we requested our mail to be forwarded. We filled out the paper form, the online form, and told our former postman. The email that we received confirming our request stated that we would begin to receive our mail in "7-10 postal business days after your move-effective date OR your file date, whichever date is later." It has been two weeks and we have yet to receive a single piece of forwarded mail. I called the Waldwick post office to speak with the Postmaster and was told that they don't come in till 10am. At approximately 10:30am I called again. She still was not in, so Corina helped me. She confirmed my request was in the system. She also called my new post office to confirm that they have not received anything. She stated that my mail must be at the sorting location and should be arriving "in drips and drabs" soon. Corina went above and beyond, so I thank her, but if you are moving make sure you put in your request at least two weeks prior. The mail has gotten SO slow.

Mailman who delivers to my house on Monroe street never takes what we leave for him. Sometime the mail is on the ground. And clearly delivers mail to wrong house. In addition people in the office are often rude.

Horrible filthy place. You have workers in the back doing who knows what while the post office is full of people waiting with 1 person working behind the desk. The place looks like the aftermath of a tornado, tattered plastic hanging from the ceilings, dozens of bins stacked up feet high and feet away from the desk. If they're so concerned about a contagion wouldn't it make more sense to not let the place get filled up with tons of people???

One of the better post offices in this area.

So I come in here on a Thursday afternoon and the place is empty. The clown behind the counter is diddling on his phone. I tell him I'd like to buy some stamps. He pulls out the stamps/quantities I want and while he is cashing me out, his cell phone rings and he answers it. Sounded like it might have been his wife or girlfriend. She apparently asked him what was up and he responded "Eh, the usual insanity." I almost laughed in his face. What a clown. I wonder what would happen if he really had to work for a living instead of standing around like a stooge? Pretty amazing that this is what we pay for when we use the postal service.

I’m living in this town for quite some time, and I holed myself back to put any negative review about this Post Office branch, but... enough.

The workers at the front seriously need to reevaluate their customer service skills. They all look unhappy and dread working at the front. The amount of times I have to ring the silver bell for them to come up front just shows how much they avoid staying at the front. However the post mail carriers are very nice and friendly! My experience going to the actual post office to drop off my packages I dread everytime.

Horrible mail delivery service. 6 months of living in Waldwick and I have had more of my own packages delivered to the wrong address (and never received them) than I ever experienced living in Jersey City when it would make more sense to have lost packages there due to the higher population. Also, a mailman who deliveries mail to your doorstep and asks for a signature while smoking in your face and allowing the smoke to go into your home.

I grew up in Waldwick and moved out when I got married. I never had a problem with the Post Office until we moved to West Orange which is serviced by the Orange Post Office. Trust me, you have no idea what poor service is until you move into a neighborhood that is only serviced by new and temporary carriers because the route you're on is one that the experienced carriers will not bid on as a work assignment because of hilly terrain. We had lost packages, missorted mail, missed deliveries, wet mail, you name it. The only good that became of their incompetence was that we became familiar with our neighbors by delivering the missorted mail to the correct people.
