I really wished that someone at Santori's answered the phone so I can give a compliment about one of the deli staff. I was there on 6/6/24 between 4:30 and 5 p.m. Both men working in the deli are nice. The older man did something for me to help me. I picked a container of chicken salad out of the refrigerator. He saw that I was trying to put the lid on better because it kept popping off. He gave me a small plastic bag to put it in. That meant a lot to me. Please tell him how appreciative I am. He's a keeper!

I loved this place BUT I will not be bringing my business here anymore, there’s an older white cashier that is very racist against the Hispanic guys that work in the back. She is very bothered by them for not speaking English but the way she was telling another customer about it didn’t sit well with me so I will be bringing my businesses elsewhere.

To the owner(s)-
I sent this to you via message and email yesterday, and you haven't seen fit to reply. So I shall post this as a very public review of both stores.
I give your Main Road store and employees 5 stars.
I give your Delsea Drive "new" store one star. Had I written this yesterday, I would have said zero stars. I can't see how the Delsea Drive store can possibly survive if it continues as it is now.
I wish to call something to your attention.
The Main Road store may be smaller, but your personnel is much more friendly and helpful to the customers. The store is clean, well stocked and has better quality refrigerated items.
I just went to the new store you opened in the old Aldi building on Delsea Drive. The store is larger, but the shelves are very empty. The inventory on the shelves is sloppily arranged and unmaintained. The front of the store is stacked dangerously high with boxes.
This location leaves a lot to be desired.
What made me the most peeved is how the lone cashier, a young woman with long dark hair, was standing there playing on her phone, blowing her nose into her shirt. That is something I haven't seen since I taught eighth grade! Male students would do this, I suspect to gross me out. So, trust me when I say this isn't acceptable social behavior, especially for a grown woman.
She obviously had a cold.
She was NOT wearing a mask. There was no sanitizer at her register.
I spent $80 on my order, and would you believe that she did not even offer to bag my groceries? She stood there watching me do all the work. Another customer came up behind me, and you might have thought she'd have helped me bag before starting to ring them up? No.
I pointed out to the cashier that I have been a customer since you first came to Vineland, and I have never had a cashier stand there and watch me bag. The ladies at the Main Road store bag, so they can get on with their work. That includes stocking shelves and cleaning. Your Main Road employees never do anything but their jobs and they do it well.
Rest assured that I will not go to your Delsea Drive store again. The new location isn't even remotely close to the quality of products and customer service that your first store offers.
That rude snotnosed girl who waited on me should be immediately sent to a doctor; after returning with medical clearance sent for training at your Main Road store. I bet she won't make it through one day there before she gets fired.
You need to have consistent customer service in all of your stores. In fact, your Delsea Drive store is grossly understaffed compared to the Main Road store. Aside from the cashier in question, I only saw one person in the deli and one person coming out from the back of the store as I was headed for checkout. There are at least six visible employees in the Main Road store at all times, always cleaning, stocking and checking out.
Hope you take my suggestions seriously.
If I noticed, others will too.
