I love Vanguard Medical Group! Today’s visit went smoothly, I was able to make an appointment for the same day, staff and physicians are friendly and I was in and out quickly! Waiting time was only 5 minutes!!!

Vanguard Medical Group makes seeing the doctor a pleasant experience — everyone is polite and nice, very professional— unlike my previous experience in a Montclair doctor’s office where unfortunately the staff are really rude, belittling and extremely unhelpful, borderline nasty!I highly recommend Vanguard Medical Group

I've been seeing Dr. Gorman at Vanguard for about 15 years now and he's great. Very smart, knowledgeable and personable. He explains everything to me and makes me a part of the decision making process. He never rushes through my visit and he gives me his undivided attention. You can't beat him if you're looking for a good primary care physician.

I’ve been a patient at Vanguard Medical Group since moving to NJ.I’m so pleased with this practice and everyone I have come in contact with.I use the patient portal to access test results, message my provider and other things.I would recommend Alyse Stern with confidence!

I love my PCP. Dr. Smith is the best. Vanguard Verona office is always so organized and clean. The staff is always polite, makes you feel comfortable and answers all your questions or concerns. Would recommend.

I absolutely love the staff at Vanguard. They are responsive and friendly. I was having an issue, they quickly fit me in for an appointment. The PA I saw (Khan) was fantastic about addressing my concerns. We discussed a path forward, gave me watch outs and let me know to contact her at any point before my follow-up if I had additional concerns.I highly recommend the Vanguard group.

Do not go with Dr. Daftani if you are a person of color grieving!! She did not take my grieving period serious and caused me more stress. Because of her lack of urgency on my disability paper work, I did not receive my disability funds for 6 months! literally my last day of work was May 2023 and I just received my funds in November 2023! I got eviction notices and could not pay my bills. I started speaking up after about 4 months because I was denied my disability twice at that point. And then when she got tired of me speaking up for myself, she tried to submit paper work with inaccurate dates so that I wouldn't get my full past due amount. Literally I had to have her resubmit THE SAME PAPER THREE TIMES IN ONE HOUR! If I did not read through it, I wouldnt have gotten my full amount.She continuously made me come back for check-ups to pay the co-pay, just to not submit my paperwork accordingly or at all. I am livid and she will be reported to the department of health. I will never go back here. The receptionist all seem friendly but they also were responsible for submitting my paper work on time. Dealing with them was THE WORST part about my grieving process.If you are anticipating disability, make sure you SEE a confirmation that it was submitted. Or just go somewhere else.I specifically waiting until my disability was approved before submitting this review out of fear they would try to further delay my disability payment some more.

The staff at Vanguard Medical are friendly and attentive Visiting Dr Seise is always an enjoyable experience. He always takes the time to ask me engaging questions and really get to know how I’ve been doing since our last appointment. Highly recommend!

Have been patients of Alyse Stern, and other doctors prior to Alyse! We love Alyse!!! She is always warm, friendly, thorough, professional and caring!!! We have NEVER had anything but positive experiences at Van Guard!!! Highly recommend the entire practice!!!

Julie is an amazing physician assistant. I have been seeing her for years. She is kind, compassionate and empathetic. She is very thorough and will answer all of your questions without any hesitation. Julie is simply wonderful!

New to the area. Went here for a physical. Horrible experience and not a thorough exam. Didn’t even get a doctor. Was a physicians assistant. All the guy did was go over my blood work, check my ears, and put his stethoscope over my sweatshirt. Nothing more. Was a total waste of my time and now I have to go to a real doctors office to get a proper exam. This place is terrible and I’ll never go back. I urge you to avoid Vanguard at all costs.
