We brought our new puppy Willow in for the first time 2 days after we adopted her and she developed a cough. The staff was super nice and cared for her so well. She wasn't scared or fussy at all. They knew just how to handle her so that she would remain calm. They diagnosed her with kennel cough after doing a bunch of tests to rule out all the possibilities. They also did a quick general exam to make sure everything else was good and sent us home with medication, vitamins, supplements, and tons of reading material on raising our new puppy. Highly recommend this vet. They treat your pup like family!

The staff at Hamilton Veterinary Hospital have been professional, caring, and supportive with my fur babies. They have treated with care and referred to higher care facilities when needed. Their knowledge and compassion when having to make end of life decisions for our most recent kitty was comforting and so appreciated.

My dog is afraid of the floors. Staff went out of their way to help him get into the exam room. He is not a small dog. Always pleased with all visits.

If you want your animal to bleed, hurt, and be frightened, BRING THEM HERE! If you don't, STAY AWAY!!! I brought my very loved cat Miller to Hamilton Veterinarian Hospital today for X-rays because her breathing was off and I couldn't get an appointment anywhere else for several weeks. Dr. Bernstein told me I would need to have bloodwork done too. I explained I didn't have the money and wanted X-rays. She would ask me questions and would rudely interrupt me when I tried to respond. She finally consented to the X-rays but said she couldn't tell what was wrong because Miller is too fat. That never seems to stop other offices or human hospitals from making determinations. Dr. Bernstein was the rudest vet I've ever encountered and seemed more interested in charging exorbitant fees than treating my pet! I was charged $500.00 today for an "emergency appointment " and X-rays that she couldn't read, even though I could clearly see Miller's heart myself. When I asked for medicine for Miller, Dr. Bernstein refused unless I paid for bloodwork. I know my cat has some sort of respiratory infection, and I hope nothing serious happens to her because of Bernstein's absolute indifference to anything other than more money. I did not want to bring my cherished cat here today because 3 times in the past, she was left injured: a blooody tongue, a wounded paw, and some sort of extreme trauma that kept her hiding under the bed for 2 weeks. She left with a rub-burned bloody nose today after I was charged $24.00 for a hygiene cut that wasn't finished by Rachel (tech) because my cat was too upset. I'd be upset too if my hairstylist gave me a bloody nose! In the end, I paid $500.00 for half a hygiene cut and X-rays that the vet couldn't read. The treatment used to be good here. About 2 years ago, that all changed for some reason. If you love your animals, please don't bring them here.Dr Moon. If you're reading, I would love to talk to you!
