The only thing giving this practice an extra star is the amazing therapist, Mercedes. They have been messing up appointments more times than I can count. I was told they do over the phone/zoom sessions and was told they would send a link via text and email the day before and an hour before. They didn’t even have an email on file for me. When I called to confirm for an appointment in September, they told me my appointment wasn’t until 5 (I called at 4:05 because no one communicated with me or confirmed) I told them my appointment was at 4 and I wasn’t able to do 5. That’s when they said the next appointment available wasn’t until November 9th and they could put me down for 4. Here it is, 4:17 on the day of my appointment and no zoom link, no confirmation. Another missed session! I called them this morning to confirm with a callback number and nothing. Haven’t had a therapy session since July/august. Catholic Charities, do better for your clients in need of therapy! Be better!

EDIT. They feel it's appropriate and professional to leave clients without medication. I have called multiple times in a week stating that I am out of medication only to be brushed off with "you aren't speaking with Marci until your appointment on the 7th"Had an appointment with ucaria today originally set for 2:30 pm they changed it to 6:30 pm without asking me then the provider didn't even have the decency to follow through. I was stood up. So unprofessional

I love going to Catholic charities they help people with mental illness and addiction. Even direct me to places that give food . They really care. If you have someone or yourself that need this type of service stop in there here to help I'm a witness and recovery person thanks to this place and the help they offer they give 2 meals breakfast and lunch.

Don't bother. Sent several emails trying to find out who could help us and eventually just asked for a contact for another organization since they were obviously busy... radio silence. But they were quick to add my email address to their marketing list and have the audacity to ask for donations.

I debated between three and four stars because I like my therapist and I believe that she is helping me.It was easy to sign up with Catholic charities and the intake was quick and painless. But they don't have psychiatrists, and the people that prescribe medication are separate from the counseling. Although that didn't really bother me.The only true negatives that I would give them is that I don't see my counselor once a week. The first and the second session were two weeks apart, and my next session is 3 weeks from now. That seems like a lot of time in between sessions. But at least they're covered by my insurance and I'm able to do virtual.I am wondering if these sessions will continue though because she said something about a follow up regarding the next session. I may update.

Everyone was extremely unprofessional. The receptionist were unfriendly, gave us judging looks. The Psychiatrist, Monica doesn’t give my mom good service AT ALL. She invalidated my moms feelings and decided to stop prescribing my mom a medication that she NEEDS. without good reason. I do NOT recommend this place at all.

Its cobfusing at first when you first start but all in all i love it. Its my second experience there since Covid. Very clean and they are cautious about spreading germs and illness. And safety is a number one pryority. The best lobg term care I have had over past 23 ywars of struggling with bipolar order ptsd. Social anxiety and epilepsy and panic attacks. And tge womans space program is great. Good people counselirs and volunteers. Drs are great and The southard street facility is my favorite. Sercurity and transportation is top notch. And my peers are awesome !!

People really want to help. I get monthly psychiatric consult in person, and weekly telephone talk therapy. No charge.

I went to Catholic Charities never received any response after my intake. Everytime I call no answer and the mail box is full. Poor communication

Catholic charity is a great place for services. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. You won’t feel judged. It’s clean safe atmosphere. If you in need, just reach out, no one is turned away.
