Had a great experience here buying my first car! I did not plan on making a purchase right away but they had the exact 2025 Camry I was looking for and Lou was extremely knowledgable and patient with me as I was nervous about such a big decision. They were also fair on pricing and willing to work with my budget, then even helped to set me up on my own insurance. Everyone at Gateway made me feel comfortable through every step in the process and have made me a customer for life!

I got my first Toyota Camry there in 2002 and would have last but due to an accident was totaled
So I looked on line and got another Camry
Michael my salesman was great explained everything, took for a test drive and I was sold took it home that day

I spoke with Jessica in the service department in the am about my needs. She was excellent. The place was fast and efficient. 4 hours for brakes, oil change, and tire rotation.
The issue is there is no longer term customer incentive. The strategy in service is bang them for as much as we can the first time and hope they come back.
I used Fred Beans Toyota in Flemington for over 10 years to service my car but recently moved down to ocean county.
Fred Beans sends me savings mailers, save 100 dollars if you spend over 1000. Jeff was my service rep and almost always provided me with any type of discount or benefit he could. I just spend over 1500 dollars at the facility in Toms river and when I asked the service desk if they offered any such benefits, they said no. I then stated I receive mailers from Fred Beans, would they honor that knowing I can take my business elsewhere. The gentlemen helping me, Jessica had left for the day, didnt even bother to ask anyone.
Jessica explained they would be able to see my services with Fred Beans. I have probably spent over 10k dollars in services over the last 10 years and I bought 2 cars from them. Talk about missing the customer service mark. This facility has 0 concern, in my opinion, for potential repeat customers.
I'll be taking my money back up North.
