I had a wonderful visit with my aunt Joan and her lady friends and met a wonderful poodle. I was even treated to an unexpected cup cake. What a wonderful place. It feels like home.

My siblings and I recently had to make the very difficult decision to move my father into assisted living. We had originally planned on the BrightView in Paramus but after having met with Marianne she strongly suggested The BrightView Tenalfy community as it was a little smaller and she felt a better fit for my dad. Already that said so much! She put my dad’s needs first and wasn’t interested in just getting the “sale.” We had a meeting with Joshua the very next day and from the minute we met him until the day my dad moved in he and the team guided us with such care, patience and understanding as we had no clue what to do! After assesment my dad was placed in the memory care Wellspring community run by the lovely Bonnie and her staff. What a special group of people! The community is small and really like a little family. The rooms are beautiful and so are the garden and common area’s. Everything is kept clean and fresh. Most importantly we feel like my dad is in a safe ,clean environment where he has the chance to be engaged in activities and around other people. Would highly recommend this community!

I visited Bright View Senior Living Facility in Tenafly as a CSCM with Better at Home. Bright View is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. The grounds are well maintained, and the facility is spotless. The staff is courteous, professional, and compassionate toward the residents. With my eyes closed, I recommend this location.

My mother spent her final months here. The day-to-day care provided by the nurses and aides was always considerate and empathetic; the administration always supportive. When my mother's health deteriorated, no effort was spared by Brightview in trying to make her feel as comfortable as possible. I am thankful for all their help.

I have had 2 wonderful experiences at Brightview, Tenafly. The first was with my Mother-in-"Love" (3 months) too short a stay as we lost her shortly after she moved in. But long enough to see just what a special place this is! So when it came time for my Dad to transition to an Assisted Living Community, it was a no brainer, I knew exactly where I wanted him to be!!! It's going on 3 years now, 2 1/2 years on the assisted living side and 6 months in Wellspring Village, their Dementia care community).The entire staff, from the directors to the nurses, aides, concierge, waitstaff, maintenance and cleaning staff are so caring, empathetic and gracious. Constantly going out of their way to make sure their residents (and their families) are happy and comfortable. They are a constant support system as you and your loved one are faced with the struggles of aging and having to leave their homes behind. Nurses and aides take care of your loved ones as if it was their own family! I have seen it time and time again, it is heartwarming and I am able to sleep at night knowing my Dad is safe and loved when I cant be there. They are true Angels in every way and we are blessed to have them taking care of my Dad.The apartments are beautifully appointed and the common areas are so luxurious, its like visiting a 5 star hotel! The executive chef, prepares wonderful meals and the waitstaff are eager to please if a resident is not satisfied with their selection. The special events and activities are well planned and beautifully executed by the activities director. Always a great time! Happy hour is truly happy, the "bartenders" are always ready to bring a smile to the residents face while lifting their "spirits"!Covid-19 was an especially stressful time, with everything we were hearing on the news about Assisted Living Communities and their downfalls. The staff at Brightview, Tenafly acted swiftly (and what appeared to be seamlessly) to ensure the safety of not only residents but their employees as well! I was so happy my dad was there and I know that if we should experience another surge, that the staff will do everything they can to ensure the health and safety of every single resident.The journey I embarked upon when I had to face watching my Dad age and transition from independence and self reliance to the inability to live alone was a sad, sometimes scary time. The best decision we could have ever made was the move to Brightview, Tenafly. Our other family!
