Christine was very short in her communications. She didn’t even bother with salutations and sent me a rental application before I even saw the property in person. When I asked about negotiating the broker’s fee (would the landlord be willing to pay half) her literal response was “No sorry”. She couldn’t even be bothered to add the comma that would make her rudeness at least grammatically correct. Christine was extremely unhelpful for someone who is getting paid for providing this service and in particular from the person who didn’t seek her out (the landlord did not me). I will be sure to steer clear of Coldwell Bankers and will spread the word that clearly the Short Hills office hires people who don’t have a handle on interacting with the public.
