“Well established health food store/Juice bar with a friendly very knowledgeable staff offers a wide variety of supplements, juices and food items. This store is worth a visit. It is one of the better options in the area.”

The woman behind the counter (who is the owner) is super nice, friendly and always engages in conversation. Truly gives the local/small business feel to it and I will never have a problem supporting this place.
One final piece I will always appreciate was one time my Mom went to pick up some stuff for me. Rather than most big named stores, the owner didn't try pressuring her into buying more than what she needed or came for. Rather, she helped her to find each product and if something wasn't available she gave the next best solution or left it.

“I have been part of other food coops in Brooklyn. Yup, that one that is often mocked in the NYT. ( You can mock it but they built a multimillion dollar business so mock it all you want the hippies built a sustainable model for a grocery store with lots of good organic options.) Thirty years ago people thought we all joined a cult in these food coops. Yup that's right. Usually you join a food coop group with a work commitment to keep the project going, then you get a box of veggies or groceries weekly or so. Fast forward to the present many things food related are a club of sorts. Turns out its not so crazy to join a group and get special food needs met and its also not so crazy to work a bit for it. Anyways Purple Dragon is a food coop, like a buying club, not so much a CSA or community supported agriculture. Although i could be wrong... correct me please. I have been on and off part of this group for 5 years. When i am part of it, I like the affordable box of veggies. There is a good amount of fruit, salad items and veggies to cook. When i come off the subscription its mainly when I cook less in the summer or when i go out of town. The cons. They often include this crazy handout that is crammed with info which i dont read. My eyes are pretty bad. Sometimes you get rutabaga... not my favorite. Also ground cherries are weird. You only get what they give you. This could be a con or a pro. I dont mind being assigned my veggies and fruit but sometimes i do want to buy asian veggies. The pros. Great lettuce. Great organic produce. Often it was boston bib. And often its organic romaine. Great tomatoes and organic bananas that taste amazing. They have it in many towns in the central NJ area like South Orange snd Maplewood.”

I called GNC to see if they had a different dose. The Gentleman had ordered it "Rutin" and he had recieved it overnight. Words can not express my Gratitude. I will go to This GNC for everything. “Just leaving here-was very surprised there weren't already reviews on this place however, it's all good since that's what I'm here for (lol)!! In any case, I called here earlier to see if they had a particular protein powder I was looking for. I usually go to "Vitamin Shop", however they didn't have the flavor I was looking for and decided to give this place a shot. The gentleman on the phone was very friendly in checking to make sure they had what I was looking for-and of course they did. Once I got there, the person working there whose name was "Christopher" was helping another customer and upon observing, was very helpful in giving useful information to another gentleman who seemed like he was taking protein for the first time. After he was done, I asked him about the product I was looking for and he automatically remembered me from calling. Afterwards, he completed my order and signed me up for the rewards program. I gave this place 5*s because "Chris" knocked the customer service aspect out the park from the Phone call to helping me through my transaction (give the man a raise)! Additionally, the store was very clean and conveniently located in a shopping plaza around other stores with plenty of parking. I highly recommend this store if you have health questions and just looking to live a better lifestyle all around!”
