I took my Highlander Hybrid in for the 10,000 mile service. I booked a 7:00 AM appointment and was certain I was the first car in line at 6:50 AM.After an hour I went looking for my car, this seemed to be taking too long. I didn't see the service advisor so I asked another who told me I needed to wait for Anthony to return. I walked around the lot only to find my car parked! It hasn't been serviced yet. I went back in and waited for Anthony and this when I saw my car start because my phone connected to the Bluetooth. It was ~1.5 hours before work was started. When Anthony came in, he apologized, a tech called in sick...OK, that's fine. Maybe he should have told me this? I was never updated on the status of my car. I booked the very first appointment and ensured I was the first car in for the day for a reason. The receipt says my car was finished at 8:48. What exactly did the tech do? I saw at ~8:30 it was started. So this is a 15 min service I waited 2 hours for?Did they actually do anything? There was other person that arrived after me at 7:00 AM. I saw him leave before me.Once again Toyota service department was completely awful.I will never be back to this dealer. My time is more valuable than this. I'd rather pay Jiffy Lub to do the service.

I know how car dealers can be, and I also am aware that they need to make a living, Russell Coombs was my salesman and did a great job, fast efficient, and my needs were met, the 4 star rating is only because , well NO car dealership is a 5 in my opinion. Go see Russell, He a good guy!

Bad bad bad!!!!! They tried to take advantage of me . I had to call the cops then they said they owed me nothing. Then said they would give me 1675.00 when they owed me 1900.00 . They said I would leave with my money. Then they said the owner wasn't there to sign the check, but yet the staff got paid. Who signed there checks? They maid me wait a week for my money. I was there for 7 hours and missed a days pay. A big deal as I live paycheck to paycheck. Think long and hard before Buying from them. I will never buy from them or send anyone there.,

TL:DR = BEWARE THIS DEALSHIP. Do not deal with them unless you're experienced with the hustle of sleazy, dishonest sales practices and proactively CHECK YOUR PAPERWORK! If you want the details behind my assessment continue below: I saw the negative reviews about this dealership and so came in with some preparation of what to expect. Without a doubt sales department is very aggressive and dishonest and the finance office is incompetent at best and/or equally dishonest. I was lead to believe I'd meet with the salesperson I spoke with over email for my test drive, however, when I arrived it turned out that person was present online only. The people I met in person had no idea who I was or what I came to test drive. The test drive itself began after they established who I was and that the car was there, it went ok until the check engine light illuminated. I had doubts about closing that day so the sales manager was pulled in to squeeze me, it mostly didn't work but I was looking for something specific and a sales associate of mine told me that the price was competitive compared with similar vehicles, he wasn't too worried about it. Sales manager claimed the check engine light was due to the gas cap, which is common for Toyotas. He plugged in a scan tool, which I managed to take a peak at and I saw two evap codes. He just cleared the codes with the scan tool, which he directly lied to us about. The gas cap is fine, the vehicle actually needs a purge valve/solenoid replacement. This was confirmed by another Toyota dealership I took the car in for due to a separate issue, more on that later. A good bit of cosmetic fading and poorly covered scuffs were completely glossed over until we mentioned them and any request to replace or detail these cosmetic problems was immediately dismissed. On the finances side, there was some problems with being able to process payment on their end due to their policies not aligning with my bank's, to get around this the finance department ran two or three additional hard credit checks (plus the initial credit check) on my behalf WITHOUT notifying me. This was to set me up with an in-house Toyota credit card for a portion of my down payment. Ultimately, this damaged my credit pretty significantly (I have good/excellent credit). Moreover, they ran my numbers with another warranty without asking or explaining first until we noticed the numbers not matching up to our expectations from the sales department, it was explained that they'd lower the interest rate by about 1.2% but would increase the total cost of the car by over $7000 if paid over the total loan term. I rejected the warranty and we went through the paperwork with a fine toothed comb to the best of our ability. This made the finance department unhappy as we found several errors and really took them to task over the meaning and purpose of what I was signing. Several times questions we asked stomped (they even admitted this towards the end) the finance department and at one point they had to call their supervisor. They even told us that nobody ever reads through the paperwork like we did, DO THIS! The best part I saved for last. After a week of driving the car, with under 50,000 miles, another code was thrown which threw the car into limp home mode on my way back from work. Code was due to problem with camshaft advancement due to VVT valve/sensor. I don't know if the dealer had any knowledge of this issue or not but when I called the salesperson I dealt with, a young kid, the call went straight to voicemail. When I called the dealer and tried getting connected with the finance department to determine details about the limited warranty the vehicle came with, I was told they'd call me back in ten minutes and predictably I never heard from either of them again, which is why I towed my vehicle (it was recommended I don't try to drive it at the time) to another Toyota dealership near my work, which was 1000x more honest and professional although it was just the service department I dealt with there. I be

This place is all about taking customers money. They'll put you in Fred flintstone vehicle if you have the money. They will sale you anything. The used cars are no good!!!!! I purchased a 2015 Hyundai sonata from toyota of runnemede in September of 2022. However the car was replaced with a 2020 Kia soul because they sold me the car with no air bags on passenger side. I had to rerun my credit to finance again. The car have tape falling from the inside of the vehicle. Granted when I arrived to purchase car I had fo wait for it to be repaired before I could leave with vehicle. I'm seconds from calling a lawyer. I was also blocked via email by Sean the manager of the mechanics. What type of customer service is that. I have tape coming from the inside of my car. Eventually they didn't think it would fall apart. I could've went to Matilda dad instead of Toyota of Runnemede NJ. People work hard for their money. Don't put people on anything!!!

Went to dealer to trade/purchase a new Corolla 7/5/23. The Corolla we wanted (specific color) was arriving next day. We put down the $500 deposit. Had paperwork with deal we made that included vin number of new car. Car did not arrive and we were told driver had not been able to pick up load of cars and sales manager was involved trying to see when pickup would occur. On Tuesday 7/11 we were advised by Josh our sales person that the truck driver is trying to reschedule with the dock and was expecting arrival week of 7/17. Called back 7/18 and we were informed that 4 of the 7 cars in transit were damaged and that the truck driver and dock were responsible and that they didn't know the vin numbers of the involved vehicles. They wouldn't know the vin numbers until 7/19 but they assured us that they will try to locate the specific color/like car from other dealers. 7/20 we were informed ours was damaged that side passenger rear door damage and car can't be sold to us. They immediately began trying to offer used cars on the lot some 3-5 yrs old for the same price! They claimed they couldn't find our car within 125 miles. I went to Toyota.com and found one Turnersville Toyota called them and verified they had the vehicle and it wasn't sold. Called josh back gave the info and then he called back about 2 hrs later saying Turnersville wouldn't do a dealer swap as they planned to sell the vehicle $10k over MSRP. My husband and I headed to Turnersville that evening, they honored same deal and we drove home with new car that night! Turnersville thought the story crazy which peaked our curiosity. We went to try to get deposit back and like others were given a difficult time. Wanting us to write down our credit card number with ccv number and exp along with name address and signature on a form. We refused. Comptroller took care of refund. The following week curiosity got the best of us and we purchased the car fax to the "supposed" damaged vehicle. Imagine our surprise when we found out Runnemede was "selling" a car that was never in their possession! The car was delivered to Del Toyota in PA on 7/5 (the day we "purchased") and was sold 7/8 and titled 7/24! We were jerked around and blatantly LIED to for over two weeks when the car wasn't theirs to sell and it was sold! We have all of the paperwork and have filed a report and complaint with Toyota corporate and we will be notifying the BBB. We don't normally write reviews but corporate could not even believe this one!

Have regular maintenance on my vehicle here and always satisfied.Hoping a big job that could come along won't be too costly.Would like to trade in for a new vehicle but special fees and add on charges make this very difficult even though I know they will list my car for more than I paid new...

The customer service staff seems unfriendly, maybe it was because of my Hispanic appearance. I made a personal appointment for my vehicle and was never notified by email or cell phone.
