“Looks like a small store but man is this place packed to the gills with wine and crafts. Male sure you look in every nook and cranny to find what you need. Frank at the front desk is a local kid with a great sense of humor.”

156 Windermere Ave, Greenwood Lake“Dear lord. What a selection. Not only that, but the fellah working there was friendly and knew his stuff when it comes to breweries! I travel 45 minutes to come here because of the amazing selection. Make this your beer destination:)”

1069 Ringwood Ave # 108, Haskell“Very friendly and helpful guys. Great wine and beer selections to choose from. If you like, you can ask for assistance from these knowledgeable gentlemen as to acquired wine, beer and liquor tastes for meals and special events.”
“Alright, folks, let me tell you about my latest visit to Black Bear Wine and Spirits in Greenwood Lake, NY. After a few, let's just say, 'learning experiences' with the law, I've become pretty particular about where I pick up my drinks. This place? It's got what you need. Selection's solid – comparable to other stores around Warwick. Whether you're into wines, spirits, or something else, they've probably got it. The Santa Margarita Pinot Noir is a bit on the pricey side at $29, but hey, they've got other options that won't break the bank. Now, the staff here – top-notch. I was in a rush to meet some buddies, and it was near closing time. The lady there didn't rush me or anything. Even offered a bag for my bottles without charging extra. That's rare these days, trust me.Store's layout is straightforward, clean, well-lit. But let me give you a heads-up about the parking lot – it's a bit tight. My ride's not huge, so it was fine, but just be mindful if you're driving something bigger. Here's the deal – if you're driving down 17A, this spot is worth stopping at. But, and I can't stress this enough, watch your speed around Greenwood Lake. Cops here are on the ball, especially at night. They're always on the lookout for speeders and folks who've had one too many. I've learned my lesson the hard way, so take it from me – slow down and stay sober behind the wheel. This store's great, but it's not worth the risk of running into the law.In summary, Black Bear Wine and Spirits is a solid choice. Just remember to play it safe on the roads, folks.”

“Staff is very informative and they have a great selection of IPA’s, bourbons, tequila, vodka, seltzers, etc. You also cannot beat the price they offer, overall great store.”
“Each year, friends and I participate in an enthusiast road rally from the Tri-State area up through the Hudson Valley with my vintage BMW. This past year, that vehicle suffered a mechanical failure, forcing me to seek a safe, shady location off the road to wrench around and attempt to fix the issue. Whether by pure, dumb luck, or by some manner of divine intervention, I happened to pull into the Tuxedo Wine & Liquor parking lot.
As the locals came in and out, shooting a nervous smile or a raised eyebrow at the crazy guy covered in grime under the old Bimmer, I knew that I was in a safe space thanks to the kindness and warm nature of the proprietor. I knew it was kismet when my co-pilot was able to source a bottle of some extremely hard-to-find gin inside, and even brought out a six-pack of refreshing sodas that helped me wage battle against the sweltering engine.
We considered throwing in the towel, spending the rest of the day basking in the dappled sunlight, awaiting a support vehicle. Alas - the repair was a success, the engine spun strong, and we were back in the rally! As an expression of my gratitude, I have hence vowed to make a commemorative stop at Tuxedo Wine & Liquor each year of the event.”
“Excellent selection for small shop. Semi-temperature controlled room for even mid-priced wine in old bank vault. Best quality selection in all of West Milford, much better than Uncorked with none of the temperature control issues. Store stocks customers’ favorite wines served at our few local restaurant that have liquor licensors. Well done, thoughtful selection.”
“This is the only store I shop they are always nice and have whatever I'm looking for very helpful and decent prices! I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE! IF YOU WANT CHAMPAGNE OR BEER TO ANYTHING ELSE DEFINITELY COME HERE!!?”

1 Bank St, Warwick“Had no idea until recently that Pecks has liquid catering!! We hosted our son's wedding this past weekend and I'm so thankful that we hired Pecks to take care of the bar. They handled all the details and took that off our plate. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free! The bartenders were very friendly and more importantly the drinks were awesome. I highly recommend Pecks Wine & Spirits for all of your future party planning.”
“Great family owned and run liquor store! Super friendly employees and always a great selection of everything you want! Love this place, only liquor store I'll go to.”

10AM - 10PM
23 Wyckoff Ave, Waldwick“The best place about this place is the quick in and out factor. Will you pay an extra dollar or two more per bottle compared to Bottle King or Total Wine, yes. However, if you want to go inside and grab a bottle of something, grab a pizza from the new pizza place next store, and then go to the Giant Market, than you are all set. They do have your basic liquor brands, Tito's, Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, Captain Morgan, etc. They also have your basic beers.”
10AM - 9PM
662 Ringwood Ave, Wanaque“Wine2Spirits is the best managed package store in northern NJ!The selection of beers is supreme & the manager's wine recommendations are sublime! The pricing is sometimes lower but always comparable! Just a few miles off Rt 287.”
“Good prices, very large selection of wine in all price ranges. Interesting selection of Bourbon and whiskey. Decent Tequila options. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!”
“The owners are very nice people. They always greet you with a smile and are extremely helpful. If they don't have what you are looking for, they try to stock it in the future.”
10AM - 8:30PM
61 Orange Turnpike, Sloatsburg“The new management has completely revamped this store and turned it into exactly what Sloatsburg needed. Prices are very affordable and the selection is incredible. The staff is very friendly and genuinely interested in making sure you have the best experience and find what you are looking for. I won't be going back to a certain "box" liquor store down the road on Route 17 in NJ where you always feel like you are in the way and inconveniencing the staff. Highly recommended!”
9AM - 8PM
17 South St, Warwick“Incredible service and knowledge from owner Nayant, who also is in the store daily which speaks to his level of expertise in the space. In contrast, I don't drink beer and know nothing about it. Nayant saved me as I was staring at his massive selection of local craft beers, which my brother loves and which I wanted to surprise him with a selection of. I was going to chose based on labels I liked... Nayant saw my panic/overwhelm and kindly asked if I needed help.I asked if I could just hand over the selection to him and not only did he truly take time to curate a selection of beers -- asking questions about my brother's tastes -- he also shared some local brewing knowledge with me.Beverage Plus is now my go-to for any boozy purchase... and I'll keep trusting Nayant's suggestions!”
“The owner was very helpful with helping me figure out my wedding favors of mini wines. She had also contacted the supplier to make sure we could have labels made as well. Couldn’t have been more helpful.”
“Great selection of wines.
I really like the Rose wine selection they have in the middle of the store.
They offer both domestic and international wines as well as wine tasting.
They also offer baguettes if you are looking for something to go along your selection.”
“The owners are friendly and helpful. It's a nice, well-lighted place, and they have an excellent selection of wines and beers, thoughtfully curated. I would add that it's very conveniently attached to the supermarket, so you really can have no-hassle one-stop shopping. All is good.”

10AM - 9PM
340 Ridge Rd, Mahwah“New to the neighborhood.
Employee was rude about shopping cart, even though it was my 1st time there and when I saw the sign no carts, I left it at the door. Wanted to buy 1/2 case of wine, but bought 5 bottles because that's all I could carry.
Plenty of liquor stores will allow a small shopping cart and excellent customer service. Admonishing attitude was truly disappointing for such a small errand I often do in Hillsdale or Washington twp without issue. First time I have written a negative review for anything.
UPDATE:
I have since returned to mahwah wine and liquors and had a fabulous experience. Maybe my first visit was just a bad day. Service and help was so good my second visit that I will definitely be returning. Thank you for making me feel welcome!”
“I love shopping small when I can. The owner isn't particularly friendly or polite. But they have fair pricing and a really great selection. I've always been able to find what I needed and even found some new fun things to try. Great selection.”
