My experience with my move from ** to Me was riddled with scammy shake down people that i could not wait to have out of my life These were NOT from Eadt ********************************* East Coast showed up on the last leg of the move A,great person named *** from ****** nistan and NY, arrived right on time soothed my anxiety just by being truthful helpful and a terrific worker. He dint know how much he relieved the stress that this would be a repeat of the shake down artist from yesterday.. He took care of my belongings with respect and orfanized the unit so you could see and get what you needed without climbing the unknown mountain of stuff!! Thank you *** you did a great job for me. I appreciate your hard work. Thank you.

This is the worst experience ever. They lost my Yamaha piano and even their insurance didn’t cover my loss, saying that everything was delivered. Their customer agents are rude and unprofessional. They are lost 2 boxes of my stuff, electric piano and part of the sofa. It costs me a lot right now. I highly do not recommend this service. Please chose another moving service. My move was from Seattle to New Jersey

My Last Name was formerly KING - so yes, your company did in fact move me last year from NYC to GA. MOVING PUBLIC PLEASE BEWARE!!! If we could give negative stars to this company, I would. Such a horrible experience with Always Affordable Moving & storage from start-to-finish. Keep in mind is that these moving companies know that people do not move every year, so they have no personal stake in doing a job well. You are not coming back anytime soon if at all. . Our bill increased the day before picking up and we protested; asked if we could speak with a manager. WE contracted with Colonial Van Lines who in turn hired this company for our interstate move. We could not get anyone on the phone at Colonial Van Lines – and guess what they did? The canceled the move 2 days before we were flying out. Finally got them on the line and they had to reassign the job to a new moving company - Always Affordable Movers from NJ (what a joke!!). On pickup there were 3 guys. And guess what? The bill went up again!! And they would not lift a finger until we paid the difference between our $2500 initial deposit and the new charge!!! Meanwhile, still trying to get someone on the phone for an explanation…NADA. You will only get the phone number for the van line company, never the actual movers. Anytime we did finally get to speak with someone they sounded downright rude and irritated by the call or flipping clueless. When the items were delivered; there was one guy – 1 guy!!! - to unload a 2-bedroom apartment of boxes and furniture. He rolled up with a U-Haul truck with everything JAMMED AND CRAMMED inside. They damaged our furniture and so many items, it is a DOWNRIGHT shame!! Final bill was over $10k!!! Moving insurance is Hella expensive, so if you have a claim and didn’t purchase the additional insurance, they are only bound by law to pay $0.60 for every pound of the damaged item. Our claim came to a measly $260 and the stipulation for accepting such a paltry sum is that you cannot write a negative review about the company, speak a negative word about the company, sue anyone in the company even down to the janitor and any person remotely associated with the company. We declined that payout! In the past 15 years we have moved three times and NEVER had witnessed such a lack of caring and concern. Since the pandemic, it has gotten worse.Do not, Do Not, DO NOT HIRE Always Affordable Movers or Colonial Van Lines.

Beware! You will get ripped off by this company. They broke most my items on purpose and then pay nothing relying on the Bill of Lading. Avoid as much as possible.

I booked my move through a broker, New Leaf Moving Company. They brokered out to Always Affordable. My adventure with these people started on the pick up date (11/19/2022) when three guys arrived to pick up my stuff. Two of the 'gentleman' stood outside my apartment complex screaming at each other over one of them not being able to 'drive'. My neighbor got involved, so did my landlord after 15 minutes of screaming, I got the call complaining and holding me accountable. From there. they took my stuff. My move in date was January 7th. I received a call from Always affordable on January 5th confirming that the 7th was still my first available date. The person was rude and got very defensive when I questioned some of the charges. It was between what the broker told me and what their contract stated, my misunderstanding but the person on the phone became a very rude person when I questioned them. I emailed them on January 30th to see where my stuff was and was told, end of next week/weekend. I waited until Thursday of that week and contacted them again, where I was told the truck had broke down and they would let me know as soon as they had an update. I then contacted them today, Wednesday February 15th and am being told my stuff will be delivered next week, Tuesday to Thursday.My experience with these people has been on bad one after another. A little Customer Service and keeping your customers updated goes a long way and is obviously a concept these people don't get.
