I have been going to this shop for about a year at this point. Dave is phenomenal, he is a highly knowledgeable mechanic, and you can tell within the first few minutes of ever dealing with him that he really enjoys what he does. If you are looking for a new place to take your car this is the place you want to take it to. His prices are beyond Fair. I can't recommend him enough!Services: Transmission

Very informative and honest mechanic. It can be difficult to find a mechanic who is not only honest but has the customer's interest at heart.

Unfortunately, I had a poor experience at Cooper's. They had my car for 2 days, during which they were unable to find the problem, and in fact, they made the problem much worse. On day 2, they called and told me to come and get my car, and take it to a dealer... they'd "spent more time on it than it's worth." I ended-up using another repair shop in Pitman, who found the problem in less than 30 minutes. When the mechanic there asked me who had last worked on the car, he didn't seem at all surprised when I told him it was Cooper's. Seriously, for anything other than routine maintenance, avoid this place.

Butch is one of the most upstanding and honest people I know. I have and will recommend Cooper's Repair to friends and family without hesitation. I have always found the atmosphere upbeat and cheerful even on the busiest day.

Rude and unprofessional. I've never met a mechanic so unprofessional in my life. Nice over the phone, but a grumpy old man in person. Tried to charge me 200 for a part that is sold at autozone for 85$. Don't go to him.

This is the only place I trust , honest , and excellent service. Very nice people. It's been years since I lived in pitman, but I will always drive back when I need something fixed with out the shady practices of franchise places . There are not many trustworthy places like this anymore. Give them a try and find out what it's like to see what real mechanic service should be .
