“Started Yoga classes with Mandy at BurnFitnessStudio. Its amazing experience. She is a sorted yoga teacher and knows very well how to work on your stretches and breathing. Its really a calming experience in her class with lots of variations like chair pose, eagle pose with various levels. Her class is superbly organized and keep up the environment in sync with what she is teaching. Ending with shavasana is amazing. I am continuing classes and will outgrow my learning. Thanks!!!”

“UPDATE:I’ll say that management certainly is taking our feedback into account. The gym has improved GREATLY on cleanliness, front desk is lovely (to be fair Ive never had a bad experience with them), the staff is much more present and consistently picking up which is sad that we have careless members but the staff is certainly doing their part. Thank you guys for working on bringing the gym back to its initial opening. I hope this continues.I joined this gym when it first opened as I was excited coming from another location which I loved. It was pretty nice and and well maintained until it shut down not long after because of covid. When the gym reopened I was excited to resume my membership.....But I am incredibly disappointed with (let's get the list going)1. The damn gym is never clean- I do see the young spanish gentleman working hard when he is there picking up after so many filthy adults- but he isnt always there.2. The weights are ALWAYS a disaster- no matter if I show up at 4am or 10pm- which brings me to my next point.3. 24hrs????? Depends what day, I have now made my way to the gym 3 times at 4am only to find it closed.... seriously?4. The tissue dispensers are almost always empty.5.The ladies room often REEKS- I know they cannot control members nasty manners, but perhaps a sign in the restroom to these filthy members or maybe more personnel to keep it clean? Some time back there was a lovely older lady that kept it immaculately clean, where is she?It is a "nice" gym with good set up etc, but its so discouraging to over and over experience this filth when you are trying to come in and get a good workout- its just gross.Please, you guys have a TON of members, you can SURELY afford to hire more staff and train everyone to be more customer focused.... otherwise we will be forced to find a gym that values their customers.”

“To be honest when I saw the 5 star rating with hundreds of reviews…I was VERY skeptical of actually how good this gym was.I started back in July and have really been loving taking classes here! I was initially turned off by the idea of having to take 5 personal training sessions before being allowed to take classes…My thought was, ‘I work out a lot on my own and I’m in shape so why do I need this?’ BUT, I totally get it now! These private training sessions are VITAL to learn proper form, the weights you need, and all the moves which you’ll see in classes thereafter. So this turned out to be extremely helpful!The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable about proper form/technique and all seem like they genuinely enjoy doing what they do.As for the other gym members, they were welcoming and supportive! I felt comfortable while getting adjusted at the beginning.I have been taking classes 2-3 times a week since then. The classes always leave me drenched in sweat, feeling exhausted and exhilarated after!Highly recommend Isabella Fitness to anyone interested in trying it out!”

“Before joining Gabriele Fitness, I hadn’t been a member of a gym since before the pandemic. I realized a while ago that typical fitness or gym culture wasn’t a good fit for me, and at-home workouts weren't working for me either. While I like being active, this last year had me feeling in a bit of a rut. I craved feeling stronger and challenging myself and my body in new ways and I knew I was going to have a hard time getting there without some form of motivation. After carefully considering lots of different options, I finally signed up for the 50 Strong Challenge with GFP and I’m so glad that I did. My results were both amazing and motivating! Here are a few of the things I love most about my experiences with GFP:It’s such a welcoming space. There is no toxic fitness culture vibe at all. My experience with the trainers Mike, Matt, & Chris and the other members have been so welcoming, encouraging, and supportive. They will work with you and your capabilities, offering endless modifications to make sure you can safely engage with the exercise, while also challenging you to reach your potential.I really enjoy the small group format. One of my initial reservations about group training after being out of the loop was not being able to keep up. But that’s not an issue at all. I’ve never felt rushed even if my pace was slower than those around me. For me there’s just a different energy when working out in a group as opposed to doing it solo. The groups are also small enough so that everyone still benefits from lots of individual attention from the trainer. It’s the best of both worlds.There is so much variety in the trainings and you’ll never do the same workout twice! I really love this aspect of the experience. I’m so glad to be part of this community.”

“I went to Iron for a while when I lived in New Jersey. I don't live there anymore - and tbh, unrelated to Iron, crossfit and crossfit-type workouts aren't really my thing - but this gym randomly just came to mind and I thought, "gee, I hope Iron is still open. They're such nice people." and I'm so happy to see it is! Super friendly owners and a good community of people. Prior to going there, I thought crossfit/crossfit-type gyms were only for the super buff and serious. There's a place for those folks at Iron, but also a place for regular people just trying to get stronger! Five stars for Iron.”

“I’ve been coming here for a little over a year and it has become my home gym. I’ve been lifting for 4-5 years now and I’ve been to so many gyms but this is by far my most favorite. This gym is great for social/non social people & they have great machine that you won’t find at commercial gyms. Personally I enjoy working out and looking up at all of the pictures/paintings of the pros they have on the wall; it’s a reminder to go harder. Overall the best gym in the area for sure.”

“The N Brunswick establishment is a clean, and super fun location with parking.Tho encouraged to do what you can at your own speed, all instructors perform a safe/intense workout. From hitting the bag you select (different weight capacity) with punching and kicking combos, core isolation to hand/barbell weights/medicine balls. Warm ups/down, breathing and stretching techniques are included as well. All while speaking clearly using a headset, listening to a music selection of their choice to entice an upbeat mood.They provide a cleaning solution/paper towels to wipe your area after your workout.SUPER DIVERSE from ages etc., to skill levels, ALL ARE WELCOMED, advanced and beginners (like myself) however, I don’t feel judged as instructors and seasoned participants alike take the class also.I look forward to every class as early as 5:30am to evening time slots (Not really any late afternoon wkday classes 12-3 or late Sat-Sun. Get it in early, ppl have lives!) as I continue my 16wk challenge. I also anticipate making this type of exercise regimen a way of life to stay fit and physically healthy…. And it’s so much fun!”

Small group training is offered, as close to personal training as you can get, but with a reasonable monthly membership cost. Workouts are varied and effective. “I recently had the opportunity for a session with Hiroshi Powell, professional trainer and owner. He educated me to the proper, safest and most effective way to utilize my workouts. He took the time to make sure I understood why and how I should be training to achieve the results I want. I am in my 60’s, started working out on my own since last Oct, managed to get a serious torn muscle. I only wish I found him sooner..I learned so much and look forward to my next session. “Crossfit has taught me more than I could ever ever imagined. I stopped in one night on a whim to see what it was all about. I was wiped out after just doing the warmup, thinking I was in decent shape. I quickly realized how humbling this sport could be. “If you are looking for a private gym that is welcoming and encouraging then join Onyx! I joined for training sessions and I’ve loved the experience. Drew is the best trainer I’ve worked with and the only one I’ve seen my desired results with. He is a full service trainer so he will provide a nutrition regimen along with a training regimen. He introduced me to exercises and equipment that used to intimidate me and if I’m not comfortable Drew will modify or replace the exercise. His patience, reassurance and encouragement has kept me progressing towards my weight and fitness goals. He frequently checks in to keep me accountable. I highly recommend this gym and ask for Drew!”

“Great local gym with a variety of equipment and machines that fits your workout needs (pun very much intended). If you are new to this gym, you can do a 3 day free trial before committing to a full membership or buying a day/week pass. Since I'm on vacation back home for the holidays, I will only be getting a week pass ($25). For anyone who is not too sure of how often they will go to the gym or are in town for a short period of time, you can buy a day pass for $10. I ended up doing some running on the treadmill because it was raining. The treadmill was kind of old (the built in fan was dusty) and difficult to use (touchscreen was not super sensitive). However, there were staff everywhere ensuring that machines and equipment were clean. Probably just one of those machines that they invested in a few years ago and will be used until it falls apart. Will be curious to check out the other equipment they have in the upcoming days. Overall, pretty decent accommodations, ranging from a sauna in the locker rooms and beverages up front. There is also a theater in the back, but I'm not 100% sure what it is used for. They also hold group classes in a small room in the back corner. If it is not actively being used for a class, it's a great place to stretch for warm up and/or cool down.”

“Garage Gym of Westfield was a huge step up from my last gym. Went from the LA Fitness in Union to this place and was amazed. Always organized and clean. Never had to deal with large crowds (seeing 10 people felt like a crazy busy time. But that’s just me being pampered) and even had the luxury of walking around the joint barefoot. Had to leave because the price wasn’t on a mutual level of coexisting with my wallet. But if you’re looking for a tight knit, friendly, aspiration fitness community. This is the spot.”
