I’ve been a customer for many years on this specific branch (Florida Grove Branch)and I am really pleased with the services and the attention I received throughout the years, especially Cherry Thompson, she always solves any issues in a swiftly, professional and friendly manner! Great asset to that branch!!

Came in to do some heavy duty banking for my dad at the Florida grove rd branch. Living in Florida and my dad living in Jersey always makes banking difficult but Laura Santos and Analyn Syjoigtian went above and beyond to set us up with everything we needed. I have also called upon Cherry many times with endless calls and she has never lost her patience and always provides the best customer care. The entire staff at this branch is always kind and professional. I’m always greeted by name no matter how long it’s been…this personal touch is rare and greatly appreciated.

This place is so stuck in the '80s. I see a teller to request a bank check. She asks the name of recipient. I write it down on a piece of paper. She looks at it and READS IT OUT LOUD. Now everyone in line knows my business. STUPID & UNPROFESSIONAL.

On two separate occasions I’ve been here to deposit funds for my employer and have been given a hard time despite the fact that they can verify the account. Any other Santander I’ve been to, I’ve never had an issue. Teller was rude and condescending—attitude and eye rolling (Analyn)

I have banked at Santander bank in Hopelawn NJ and each time I go in I receive excellent customer service. It has become a second home to me. My mom suddenly passed away and Laura and Cherry were so compassionate and so caring and so supportive. Each time I come into bank there they always ask me how I am doing and how they can help me either with banking needs or just in life, Laura and Cherry have been an inspiration to me and anyone who goes to the Santander Bank I would recommend them to talk to either Laura or Cherry because they go out of their way to help each customer and everyone they meet is treated with respect. They are the best employees at this bank and the best people to deal with.

Wow! Mind blown of the awful customer service at this location! As a business customer bringing cash in they certainly treat you as a pain, for giving them work! Teller requested me to make sure my bills are in order and facing all the same directions. Im sorry but im already sorting all my bills for you, and also this! Might as well do the job for you!. Even the customer next to me was being mistreated by not explaining the reason why he couldn’t make a cash deposit to someone elses account, instead of turning him away in a very rude manner. So many good Santander branches closed down and this is one of the worst yet remained. Horrible Teller experience with Monse Barreto!

This is by far the worst Santander branch!!!! I never go to this branch because the service is always terrible. They are slow, lack common sense and are not the friendliest to say the least. For those reasons I rather go to the branch at Convery Blvd where I am treated with the best customer service. They are friendly, professional, and they are aware that people don’t have time to stand in front of a teller for twenty minutes while the count a few dollars. Unfortunately, the branch at Convery Blvd was closed so I had to go to this branch.When I got to the drive thru I was told that I needed to come in because they could not do the transaction through the drive thru. Which is totally inconvenient especially during COVID-19. I go in and I had to stand in front of the teller for about 15-20min while he finished my transaction. (At Convery this same exact transaction takes 5 minutes). As I wait I hold my phone in my hand and start scrolling through IG and my emails. About an hour later I get a phone call from the branch manager to ask me why I was taking photographs of the tellers. According to her they SAW ME TAKING PICTURES of them. Her excuse was that “I had my phone on my hand”. We live in the era of the cell phone where everyone carries a cellphone in there hand and NO I DID NOT TAKE PICTURES OF THE TELLERS.This was is the epitome of unprofessionalism.The manager should have looked at her cameras which I am sure can capture exactly what I was doing before calling and accusing me of “taking pictures”.

Santander Bank In Woodbridge ,NJ Laura Santos bank staff. Bit of advice never ever go to this bank for anything. Horrible experience opening business accounts. Staff and bank is ignorant and made us wait 3 effing hours to tell us the account info could bot be entered. They were asked to prefix out applications and would initially. Do not even think about using this location if you want a home loan. They will waste your time! Roberto Donoso lacked communication skills, lacks customer service skills and needs to understand that he needs to do better in both those areas. This bank wasted my Mother’s time, didn’t communicate clearly, and belittled her. Roberto was disrespectful and rude. After seeing other comments I still do not understand why he is even allowed to be a loan officer at this Bank. The Branch Manager needs to consider the team that they have, and the people that are representing this branch. Stay away from Santander and go to another place, they will waste your time.

If you’re trying to get a home loan from Santander I suggest you to go to another branch or use a different loan officer in this location, but please do not use Roberto as your loan officer. What a waste of time! He provided me with false information. He was super rude to me and my mother acting like he was the owner of the bank. He definitely needs to learn some customer service skills.
