Do not recommend this company at all. Used them for my move to Florida and they damaged my furniture, a ps4 and lost a bin and box. Also I found foot prints all over my bins. When I called I was given the run around. I finally got in contact with someone just to find out that all there offering is $100 for my things which are worth well over $1500. DO NOT!!! I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you want ot get scamed and stolen from

Made a mistake going through a moving brokerage company and got stuck with Golden Glove Movers. Extra star for 2 stars because the movers themselves work hard and try to do a good job, but then the company takes no responsibility when accidents/mistakes happen. No one is perfect but when you mess up you need to take ownership.
Multiple expensive items including mountain bike and grill were damaged during the move. The most expensive items however, were not even delivered at all and I never received any word of their whereabouts. Kind of suspicious and convenient that those items worth well over $1000 disappeared in transit. They keep telling me they’ll call back for a resolution but never do. The claims process and insurance are just for show, they require all payment in cash otherwise they won’t deliver your things. This unfortunately makes transactions untrackable which is to their benefit.
Unfortunately I needed to move in a short period of time so got stuck with this company as I had no other choice. It put me back $15000 plus all the items lost and damaged.
They showed up with a 26’ Penske and claimed it holds 1850 cubic feet. Penske trucks only hold up to 1700 cu ft and when called out on this fact they refused to admit it and claimed they rented a very special 26’ truck that was bigger than all the 26’ Penske trucks. They changed their quote multiple times during the move, which I get, but why have a quote in the first place when the final is just shy of 4 times the original quote?
Also they don’t listen and loaded all the items we told them not to load. We had a very careful room to room walkthrough where I pointed out the things to not move multiple times. When called out on that they refused to take it out of the truck so they could charge for more space. Their solution was to “do us a favor” and not load a bunch of things we had wanted to bring so instead we were stuck and needed to leave them behind.
What’s more, we paid for packing service, but they don’t include unpacking. Also they'll take apart furniture but won’t put it back together. Every little thing needs to be paid for extra. For packing, we did most of it ourselves just asked for help with the last bits. Most of the things they packed were actually things we already packed and they just threw them together into bigger boxes to charge for more packed boxes. Others were packing the things we asked to leave behind. So we ended up with a bunch of things we threw away upon moving, and had to leave behind items we really wanted to move down with us.
Despite all their mishaps we set aside money to tip them very generously, but they asked for the tip before they were even done. That’s like a waiter asking for the tip then bringing out dessert.
These companies shouldn’t be allowed to exist and continue to get away with things like this. Until people stop giving them business though the crimes will continue.
Update:
This company tried to avoid me for over a week. I called multiple times during this period of time and it was the same person that answered each time and promised me that someone would call back the next day because the "executives aren't here yet", whatever that means. Finally they sent me an email back saying that I can call the claims company. This company CSI (Claims Service International) doesn't actually have a number but directs you to the website, and if you look at their reviews, you understand how horrible and twisted this company is by having this scam company handle claims. I don't expect to receive anything for the thousands of dollars in losses I suffered from this company. I took away the one extra star I originally gave them.

Working with Golden glove movers was an overall positive experience. we moved to a large city from out of state. These jobs are traditionally very complicated and Golden glove went the extra mile to ensure we got our stuff within the time frame promised.

Be careful !!!! Jason was so nice until he got me signing the contract and then it started !!!! He told me he wasn’t going to charge me for a second floor , I was charged. He told me they are going to wrap everything up but never mentioned that every wrap starts at 65$ !!! Only when guys came to pick up my stuff told me that . The driver didn’t want to risk to bring his semi to self storage because he was afraid he wasn’t going to be able to back up , 100 $ more . Basically it went from 1400 to over 2000 $ in a min ! I would never use this company again !!!! And I was told my stuff was going to be on July 1st . It just arrived on July 7th !!!!

Staff were always nice, pleasant & kind when you called. They go above & beyond! Met our expectations more than what we thought it would have been! Price for the move is so much worth it! We couldn’t thank you enough especially Alex S., Jack O., Belgrade, & most of all the two moving guys Lukach (hope I spelled it right) & his partner (sorry, forgot name)! Straight up lied about they're no hidden fees! Straight up lied over the phone to get our business! They lied to me and admitted it, but at that point they held my move as hostage, to either loose my deposit or pay the extra amount. I do NOT recommend.
Management could care less about what they're sales staff says and does.

As someone with anxiety and adhd, these guys were a godsend ?? very patient with me and kept me informed of any changes along the way while they dealt with my chaotic moving skills. Very appreciative of their help and transparency!
