This store fulfills a vital function for the South end of Ocean City, make no mistake. They are not stocked well considering this is a summer Friday.
And what has happened to customer service?
Today, only one non-self lane was open. The person in front of my wife had two young children. After ringing up the groceries, the checker watched as the woman bagged her own groceries as the line waited. When it was my wife's turn, the scene was repeated. Customers waited while my 72 year old wife bagged all of her own groceries without even an offer of help. Is this the new normal? Sad!

Acme is the typical grocery store experience. Some things are priced more but its a more expensive tourist town. It is what it is.

If u buy on sale items it beets the Sam's club and Costco's. Just got peaches; they were fantastic!

I had $20 cash back at checkout using my debit card. I forgot to grab my change. I realized it a half hour later. Not expecting it to be there, but I called and the customer service rep. said he saw it and put it away. I was so thrilled to see there are still honest, decent people out there. I wish I got his name. Thank you!

We did our shopping and aisles crowded as usual. We checked out, purchased our items. The cashier did not move from the register as a young woman tried to pack her own bags holding a baby without moving or offering to assist. I understand the higher prices however being courteous, demonstrating customer service and not being rude costs nothing.
