If you have an older VW or Audi you owe it to yourself to take it to Marty. He is a walking encyclopedia of VW/Audi knowledge. Hard to find someone more passionate about VWs.

This was my first job as a mechanic. My love for volkswagen cars started here. Marty is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to VW & Audi and I'm extremely happy I got to work there and get my feet wet fixing cars. Thank you for everything Marty! -Juan

Third World Care, at its worse. Hospital should be closed.

Marty is old school VW guru. Definitely knows his cars inside and out. Could be somewhat eccentric but it's part of the charm. Had my kids cars fixed there couple of times. I wish he has an assistant, as he has way too much work for himself alone.

5 stars. Wouldn’t bring a German auto elsewhere. Honest and reliable for two generations back to 1991.

Felt the need to write this. I have no interest in harming anyone's business or finances but I feel people should know. Unfortunate to the fact after, I found with research people with similar instances. I took my car to this place in the summer. Changed my timing belt and a pump charged me 1100. I pick my vehicle up because I was told it was "good to go". I accelerate on the highway home and my CEL light starts flashing, so I contact Marty, tells me stop driving the car. So I get it towed to his shop for him to tell me another $1100 bucks to fix a problem "completely unrelated that couldn't have been for seen" as much as I'm already smelling b******* I give the man the benefit of the doubt. So I allow him to work on the car. At the time I didn't have the $1100 upfront, he didn't have an issue putting me on the book which regardless I appreciate that. He calls me a day later to tell me he has to wait for his son to come up from North Carolina that he can't do the job( Marty is supposed to be a master mechanic; I do understand the man is older and I respect that, If he couldn't do the job, send me off somewhere else. Wait for his son to come back to basically have my car the whole summer ( back and forth 4 separate occasions) to not fix the car, not answer my texts ( mind you I didn't even hawk this person) , when he did it's because I had to remind him that you're not gonna get over on me and think I'll just let it go. So he answers me to tell me I have personal problems of the sort. Little does this person know I want nothing to do with them other than I hired you for a service, you took the job, so I'd expect completion. If you couldn't have done it? Say so and don't take my money. When I confronted his son in a matter that he knew I wasn't going away, he ended up giving me back $420 of the $700 I gave him as initial down payment on the job. Didnt wanna argue, get myself in trouble, or deal with it at that point so I took the money and walked away. BOTTOM LINE: Marty is past his prime. I'm sure the man knew what he was doing at some point in his life, but he's too old to hack it anymore and that's more than ok. Far as who's running the business now behind his father's name? I'd take my money elsewhere.

Took my 2015 VW Passat TDI to a dealer who quoted me $1600 to fix the radiator fan. I ran the codes and saw it was a wiring issue, not an issue with the fan itself. Then I took it to Marty who immediately figured out what was really wrong. Three days later, I picked up the car and everything was working. Parts and labor came out to $350. Marty seriously knows his way around a VW and saved me serious money!

Thanks again, Marty, for your expertise and excellent craftsmanship. I have brought my VW's and Audi's to Marty for fifty years and wouldn't think of having anyone else work on my VW products. I have owned my VW Karmann Ghia for more than 50 years and it runs like a new car because of Marty's meticulous mechanic skills. There is no doubt that he is an exceptional mechanic. If I have any questions and/or problems with my cars I know that I can trust him for dependable and accurate help. I vote Marty's VW Service for the "VW Repair Hall of Fame for Excellence". Recently, after sending someone with a Toyota, for some repairs, he did an exceptional job at a fair price.
