I visited the store for the first time, expecting to pick out my own shoes, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was warmly greeted and assisted by Axel, who was patient, kind, and offered excellent recommendations. I couldn't decide because all the options were great. I explained the issues with my previous shoes, and Axel provided solutions by scanning my feet to determine the best fit. The results were impressive. Overall, if you're looking for running shoes, this is the place to go. Thanks to Axel, I found a pair I really like.

About a month ago I became obsessed with walking. Currently walking 10 miles daily so finding a good shoe can't be overstated. A friend of mine suggested I get my feet measured. Earlier today after many years I stopped by Fleet Feet to get the foot scan thingy. I became immediately skeptical upon walking in the door. Apparently the space has been upgraded, remodeled and expanded. It's as if the old Fleet Feet store never existed. I was looking for the old store in the new Montclair but instead all I got was the new Montclair. OOFOS OOnah nah slides on the wall and apparently they sell Birkenstocks now. (Or maybe they always did?). I was also thrown off by the hosts standing around greeting customers as they come in and a couple of them looking down their noses. But I have no real complaints, the guy who sold me the ASICS GT-2000 12's (I forgot his name) gets 5 stars for his all-around upbeat positive vibe. Now that I think about it; At least two things remain from the old Fleet Feet: An actual real shoe salesman; and the little wooden shoe stand box thingy that he helps you try the shoes on with.

Top shelf service! Hi tech foot measuring! I can't say enough about this store in Montclair. I was so well taken care of. Really, a shopping experience doesn't get much better than this. Thank you.

Was there for the first time today because I know they tend to be little more expensive than what I can usually afford.
From the moment we walked in the employees treated us like we were regulars.
A very knowledgeable gentleman named Paul helped me find the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. He did the scan and my feet are more messed up than I thought but he really took his time to answer all my questions and find me the perfect shoes. Paul's customer service was so above and beyond. He could not have been nicer or more helpful while being very personable and friendly. That alone will make me a return customer. Thank you for the excellent experience!

I had a great experience getting my feet sized for my first running sneakers today! I was assisted by a patient, gentleman. I regret not asking for his name. He was very versed in all things running and was such a great teacher. He also helped me find a great shoe! I will definitely be back!!!

Amelia helped me pick out a pair of ASICS for marathon training, and I really appreciated her expertise and patience. She gave me many options to try on and I decided to go with the Gel-Nimbus 26. She even asked me if I wanted to try it on one more time and run outside to make sure I was making the right choice for me, so it made me feel at ease that I wasn’t being rushed. She also gave me trail recommendations to try for my long runs. Thank you so much, Amelia!

I loved it! I recently visited and tried to get my first running/walking shoes. It was nice and I appreciate the employee helping me out. He was super nice and helpful. He gave me a test and provided shoes for me to try on. He seemed knowledgeable and it was quick. We came in and out. If you're a clueless beginner, they definitely will help you out

I'm going to be doing my first half marathon so came here to get some training shoes.
If you are a beginner, come here and tell them you no nothing and want them to run down the full spectrum of what they offer.
I had an idea of a shoe I wanted and just went for it, but once I started asking questions. The employee helping me didn't offer advice or the foot scan until I asked more and more questions.
So tip, don't go in acting like you know what you want. Ymmv depending on who helps you of course.
I ended up getting the a Hoka shoe, happy with it so far

I purchase running sneakers for my daughter. The sales person was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain explained the difference between all the different running sneakers available.

Took my mother in for walking shoes. The entire experience was positive, all of it driven by Victoria’s patience, knowledge, and agreeable demeanor. The selection was excellent as was the foot scan process. Great experience for us.

I've recently been investing in running and decided to checkout this location, as it was the closest near me. I had such a great and comfortable experience. I was helped by Mary and she helped me pick out my first running shoe. There were so many options but I never felt overwhelmed or pressured to make a decision quick. She had me try on a bunch of different brands and compare them on each foot which was super helpful. She also told me about the runs on thursdays and overall was extremely welcoming and warm. I definitely will be coming back again for any of my running needs.

John was nothing short of awesome. He spent well over an hour with us, assisting my partner with marathon/running shoes and me with pregnancy support sneaks. He was patient with our toddler and even offered her his iPad to keep her occupied with Miss Rachel videos. He was very knowledgeable, patient, pleasant & the time spent with him was enjoyable. We’d definitely return for future purchases and encourage you to stop in!
