39 Carrs Tavern Rd, Millstone“Although my senior cat was only a patient there for a relatively brief time, they were wonderful to him, and me. We had an emergency, and they took us right in as soon as they opened. I definitely recommend them, and I'll be back with my next pet, guaranteed.”
“We are so grateful for the care that we receive at Piscataway Animal Clinic. The staff is always so friendly and very accommodating toward our special needs senior dog. Dr. Spodnick cares for Teddy like he is her own dog, and we appreciate her thoroughness and thoughtfulness in taking care of him.”
“Truly an amazing place! It is more like going to visit family rather than a Veterinarians office. The staff is so kind and compassionate. They always treat our baby Luna with love”
“One of the premier veterinary hospitals in Somerset County.
We take our screaming Malamute there and Dr. Silvers is always friendly and patient. There's never an extended wait and the pet interaction in the waiting room is minimal. The assistants are wonderful and helpful with us and our pup always leaves a happy boy.”

802 Easton Ave, Somerset“My favorite clinic because the whole team is professional, caring and compation with my pet and my need as an owner. I can count with a great support and knowledgeable doctor and clerks about all my pet needs. Combine locater closed from home and easy to assess and affordable prices.”
“Recently went in for my first time. They were easy to book and quick to obtain previous records. The vet tech RJ was phenomenal- knowledgeable, attentive, and very gentle with my baby. I was a nervous wreck and he calmed even my worries. Dr. Amato was amazing and even got Jaxon to take treats at the vet which he has never done before. They were able to administer vaccines and take a blood sample without muzzling Jaxon which my previous vet would say was not doable. Dr. Amato followed up the next day personally to go over blood work results and next step options- very thorough. The front desk staff was polite and respectful from the time of booking, making a deposit, getting records, and checking in and out the day of the appointment.”
“We have been taking our dog Neo to Homecare Vet Clinic since we adopted him from the shelter 5 years ago. The last few days Neo has had a nasty cough and I called over the July 4th weekend and was put on a last min appointment waiting list and promptly Monday morning I received a text for an appt that afternoon. I can’t express how pleasant every interaction with the team at Homecare has been. From the reception desk to the vet techs, and doctor herself. Everyone on staff is so nice and the care and attention they give Neo is so special even when we moved a bit farther away, we make the journey to their office. Every time we visit we walk away knowing what the plan of care is whatever the illness, we know should we need to try something different we can come back with open arms and everything is always explained in great detail and attention. I love that they follow up to check in as well, truly just a great vets office. I just had to share what a fantastic team they are to anyone who is thinking of taking their pup don’t doubt it! Thank you Homecare Vet team for always being so attentive, kind and caring.”

390 Georgetown - Franklin Tpke, Skillman“From the moment we arrive at Progressive Veterinary Care, we feel so beautifully and personally attended to with professionalism, warmth and deep care. Our dog literally wants to run in there and does anything the staff asks because they give her such a great vibe and treat her so lovingly! When I am there, I feel like my dog is their only focus and they share what they are doing, what it means and the results of any testing with clarity and educating me so I can understand. Dr. Finger and her team of staff are just the best--they are so warm, funny, caring and just so gentle with our dog, both physically and emotionally. We are so thankful we found this practice having just moved her from Southern California! -Gina and Fred Kornfeind”

A huge thank you to his surgeon, Dr. Klatzkow, and all the incredible staff whose names I unfortunately didn’t get for saving his life that night. They were also more than helpful with all of my follow-up questions. I’d like to especially shout out Finn, the receptionist, who was lovely company on one of the worst nights of my life!
Two words of advice for fellow owners: First, definitely call ahead if you’re in an emergency situation so that they can thoroughly prepare- it can save you precious time. Overnight staff is limited and if they’re already occupied with a true emergency, you will not be able to receive help. Always call! Second, emergency care is expensive and that is not your vet’s fault! Who ever heard of becoming a veterinarian for the money? ? Pet care is not subsidized by the govt. like human medical care, so prepare with an emergency fund and/or get pet insurance! We came in uninsured and paid about 8k, you bet I signed him up for pet insurance two days later!”

10 Sunset Rd, Belle Mead“We found Dr. Newman and Harlingen after suffering through three different bad experiences, judgmental attitudes and expensive misdiagnoses in the Bridgewater area. Our Miniature Schnauzer was finally diagnosed with a congenital shunt defect which required special care/diet/medicine following a consultation at the Cornell Veterinarian Medical School. Dr. Newman took care of our schnauzer and gave annual feedback to the specialist for the duration of her 13 years. Dr. Newman was there when we had to say goodbye. It has taken us several years to feel that we could bring another dog into our family but recently became the owners of a new miniature schnauzer puppy. We could not wait to introduce her to Dr. Newman and the staff at Harlingen. They have been nothing but kind and professional over the years, always helpful; provide basic as well as advanced information and resources if needed; they always provide honest feedback when questions are asked. We never felt rushed; we never felt imposed upon financially. They are even willing to give you financial estimates if needed ahead of time. We recommend Harlingen whenever asked for a vet reference. For those people giving feedback about the wait, it is very difficult to provide quality medical care on a clock. You cannot have compassionate care and be on time always. I know this because I also work in human healthcare and being on time is always a challenge. Each visit presents unique concerns and care. I will always choose compassionate quality care over on-time performance and I am willing to wait for it. My recommendation is to always allow enough time to wait if that is your primary concern.”
“We love Dr Horatio. She’s the best and the only doctor we see always for our Cavapoo. She’s so patient with him. And always treats him with extra special care. We love her style and appreciate her approach. Always giving us options to consider for treatment with her view on path to consider.”

1983 Washington Valley Rd, Martinsville“Martinsville Veterinary Hospital is a lifesaver! Our cat had bad digestion issues, and they squeezed us in without an appointment. We only waited about 15 minutes! The place was super clean, and everyone was so friendly and professional.
They did a quick exam and prescribed antibiotics that worked wonders. They were really understanding about our tight budget and even gave us some free donated medications. They also provided a plan of action in case the situation got worse, and told us to contact them asap if it does.
Can't recommend this place enough. It's clear they really care about animals and their humans too. Definitely our new go-to vet!”

“The best vets in New Jersey. Have been coming here for years and glad I found my forever veterinary care performed by dr Barron. She is completely compassionate for my 12 year old German Shepard. This girl is a handful at 110 pounds and dr Barron knows and u understands my girl needs time and can't be rushed. She and her staff are so patient and caring as if my animals were their animals . From dr. Barron to the sweet girls up front, they provide the best care and service without absolutely being in the business to ring up things the average person can't afford . 5 starts are too few . Love them and you will too”
“Took our new cat in for a wellness visit after adopting her. Staff were all nice, clinic was clean and appreciated that it seems like they get animals into a room right away versus sitting in the waiting room with other animals. Not sure how they do with more complex issues, but will happily keep taking our kitty there.”

8 N Rd, Warren“Dr Gallo took me and my cat same day as a walk in. She personally called the next day to see how my cat was doing and helped me to get her healthy again. She is what you hope for in a family vet❤️ you don’t see this much anymore. She was very respectful of the amount of money I was spending and gave me options but did not at all push any expensive interventions or treatments. Highly recommend !”

390 Georgetown - Franklin Tpke, Skillman“All the staff here are fantastic! We've been coming in for about 10 years with four cats and a dog and all have had amazing treatment. Dr. T and the whole team has helped our cats: first with brain cancer, the second with an intestinal blockage and hyperthyroidism, third's weightloss, and fourth's hysteria/aggression at every office visit. They've been there every step through our dog's health problems despite his fear of strangers (at first we brought him in with a muzzle, but it's the only place now where he is never aggressive towards strangers), including two CCL tears and corrective surgeries, as well as a tumor resection with a very long healing process. There are no words to describe how grateful I am for the care they've provided over the years. I passionately recommend to everyone I know that they come to these offices.”

137 Readington Rd, Readington“Honestly, Dr. Costlow and his staff are the absolute best I’ve ever experienced. I had a very ill bunny a few years ago and he figured out the cause and walked me through caring for him. He’s still alive and well today. Now, I brought in my kitten who has a horrible illness and he’s doing all he can to work with me hands on and help me through life saving measures. I’ve had animals my entire life and have never had care like this before. I would give more stars if I could!”

He calls at off hours, follows up and even answers questions I've had helping an island rescue. Another very important part is that the staff is friendly and they listen!!!”
“We chose VCA County Vet for our puppy based on recommendations we received from friends. As we approach almost one year at VCA, we have been so happy with the attentive care our pup has received here, especially from the wonderful Dr. Miller. Dr. Miller and each vet tech we've worked with have been patient, transparent, and empathetic with any concerns we've raised. We've also worked with Dr. Barron for dental needs, who is equally fantastic, detail oriented, and supportive. VCA staff never push us to spend unnecessarily, but they also don't cut corners. Each visit we've had has been thorough and brought us the answers we need at the time. Most importantly, our dog is at ease with Dr. Miller and all VCA staff, who take the time to comfort him and negate any vet-related fears. All the staff are warm, friendly, and willing to answer any questions you may have, whether in person or via phone. We are usually able to get an appointment within a timely manner, and sometimes even same-day if needed. Thank you to Dr. Miller and the wonderful staff at VCA County Vet!”

“I’m incredibly grateful for Faith Vet Clinic and its amazing staff. After 3.5 years of bringing my pet Holland Lop bunny here, I can confidently say they’ve become my trusted family vet. The care they provide is exceptional, and I always feel my pet is in the best hands.
Recently, my bunny was suffering from a severe abscess, and I was truly worried he wouldn’t make it. Thanks to the clinic’s dedicated staff, not only for their effective treatment but also their genuine concern and care for each pet, my bunny is now back to great health.
Faith Vet Clinic has been a reliable resource, and I appreciate their readiness to handle emergencies. I wholeheartedly recommend them! ??”
“Was referred to Dr. Koster by a friend. We find her to be an amazing veterinarian... her knowledge is second to none. We drive an hour each way for our appointments and feel it is well worth it.”
