“CrossFit Nassau has been an incredible journey for me. The coaches are exceptional, creating a welcoming environment where safety is paramount. Their focus on proper form has significantly improved my technique.

The WODs are always challenging and adaptable with many scaling options. The community is truly supportive and inspiring, making every workout enjoyable. Recently adding Olympic and Strength classes to my routine has noticeably enhanced my lifting abilities.

Definitely recommend!”

“The experience is incredible, everything is always neat and clean, but what I like most is that there are not many people, nor do you have to wait to use the machines.”

“I found the Free burn classes for the month of march through an instagram ad and submitted my information. I was contacted the next day by Jennifer who explained in detail everything about the trial from how it was 80% cardio 20% strength and unlimited classes that we have to sign up for before coming. Today we went for the 6am class with Geir Gudmundsen. Geir led this class with such grace. First time there with my fiance and we felt very welcomed. He explained how the rotations to each different exercises were and how to use each machine we got on. The number one thing I really liked is that we were pushed to do it at our own pace. Though I have a smaller figure, I tire very easily and would like to work on that. It was a great wake up workout. He was also very good at checking in on how we were feeling if he saw we were overworking ourselves. Both me and my fiance work from home and are getting married next month so we are trying to be a bit more active and slim up a bit more before the big day. I will definitely be back”

“I joined OTF in Somerville at the beginning of the transformation challenge, 8 weeks ago. I am fairly new to this area and when I saw OTF was 5 minutes down the road from me I had to try it. After being a member for 8 weeks I can truly say I have had the best experience at this location. From the managers to the coaches, they make sure you truly feel like part of the OTF family and beyond. I recently graduated nursing school so throughout my journey at OTF I had sat for my boards and accepted a job, and the staff were my biggest cheerleaders at every step of my journey. If you’re ever considering joining OTF, definitely come to the location in Somerville, you’ll absolutely love it!”

“I started training 3 weeks ago at F45 Branchburg, and it's terrific. I tried traditional gyms before, but F45 is definitely another vibe. Every workout is designed to challenge, develop, and improve your overall performance. The place is clean, and the trainers are exceptional. 100% recommended ?”

“This is an absolutely great place for kids and families. Conveniently located in a small shopping center with plenty of parking, it is a bright, airy place decorated with primary colors and full of opportunities for the little ones to work off their energy in a safe, positive environment. My daughter-in-law and 3-year-old granddaughter are spending this year at Princeton, and my daughter-in-law took out a membership here. My granddaughter attends a one-hour tumbling class on a weekday morning, and a 1-hour pass to let a child stay after the class is also available. Plenty of kid-safe activities are available, including, slides, jumping surfaces, kid-safe balancing beams, and safe climbing surfaces, as well as supervised activities. We had my granddaughter's birthday party here, and she and all her little friends had a wonderful time. Two staff members are provided for each party, and I can't say enough about the friendliness and enthusiasm of Ryan, who was the main party host. This is a wonderful place, and if you are spending time in Princeton and have small children, definitely something to look into.”

“I have been working with Larry for years since a major physical set back. He always has workouts that are within my limitations but still push me to get stronger. His knowledge is so expansive. He knows so much about the human body and what makes it work best. Add in his knowledge of food and you have the whole package. Larry doesn't just know all these things he lives them, making him empathetic on top of encouraging. I would highly recommend Larry to anyone looking to become more healthy!”

“Great local gym with a variety of equipment and machines that fits your workout needs (pun very much intended). If you are new to this gym, you can do a 3 day free trial before committing to a full membership or buying a day/week pass. Since I'm on vacation back home for the holidays, I will only be getting a week pass ($25). For anyone who is not too sure of how often they will go to the gym or are in town for a short period of time, you can buy a day pass for $10. I ended up doing some running on the treadmill because it was raining. The treadmill was kind of old (the built in fan was dusty) and difficult to use (touchscreen was not super sensitive). However, there were staff everywhere ensuring that machines and equipment were clean. Probably just one of those machines that they invested in a few years ago and will be used until it falls apart. Will be curious to check out the other equipment they have in the upcoming days. Overall, pretty decent accommodations, ranging from a sauna in the locker rooms and beverages up front. There is also a theater in the back, but I'm not 100% sure what it is used for. They also hold group classes in a small room in the back corner. If it is not actively being used for a class, it's a great place to stretch for warm up and/or cool down.”

“Awesome gym with great equipment and atmosphere. However, there’s a trainer here who is prone to incessant whistling which usually distracts from the workouts. Headphones are no match to the whistling. Otherwise a great place to get all your fitness needs.”

“I've been coming to Savage City Strength for over two years and I am still having a five-star experience. This the most well-stocked gym I've ever been to and Shawn's guidance has been top notch. All of the members are friendly and competitive but only in the positive sense keeping all of the workouts fun and productive.Anyone serious about improving their bodies needs to come to this gym.”

“The N Brunswick establishment is a clean, and super fun location with parking.Tho encouraged to do what you can at your own speed, all instructors perform a safe/intense workout. From hitting the bag you select (different weight capacity) with punching and kicking combos, core isolation to hand/barbell weights/medicine balls. Warm ups/down, breathing and stretching techniques are included as well. All while speaking clearly using a headset, listening to a music selection of their choice to entice an upbeat mood. They provide a cleaning solution/paper towels to wipe your area after your workout.SUPER DIVERSE from ages etc., to skill levels, ALL ARE WELCOMED, advanced and beginners (like myself) however, I don’t feel judged as instructors and seasoned participants alike take the class also.I look forward to every class as early as 5:30am to evening time slots (Not really any late afternoon wkday classes 12-3 or late Sat-Sun. Get it in early, ppl have lives!) as I continue my 16wk challenge. I also anticipate making this type of exercise regimen a way of life to stay fit and physically healthy…. And it’s so much fun!”

“Crossfit has taught me more than I could ever ever imagined. I stopped in one night on a whim to see what it was all about. I was wiped out after just doing the warmup, thinking I was in decent shape. I quickly realized how humbling this sport could be. If you show up, eat right and push yourself hard every time you will find yourself in the best shape of your life because that’s where I’m at now 3 months in. The coaches are incredible to say the least. They pay attention to you and help you be the best version of yourself. Jackie the owner is nothing short of an inspiration. She goes above and beyond to ensure everyone gets every penny out of their memberships. Don’t think twice, it will change your life both physically and mentally.”

“I’ve been a member at this gym for a little over a year now and can honestly say it’s a great facility. A little on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for and Pinnacle has a lot to offer compared to cheaper gyms in the area. I’ve trained at various Retro Fitness gyms around the state for years prior to joining Pinnacle, but got tired of the after work crowd and having to wait to use equipment. I’m typically a 6am workout person, but I have come to Pinnacle after work several times during the week for a quick workout. Aside from children coming in for activities with parents, I can’t say I’ve experienced a real crowd or have had to really wait to workout with any equipment. I hope it stays this way lol”

“I was new to CrossFit but have to say that this awesome community, supportive coaches & Members teach you all the fundamentals & core movements. Kudos to Coach Sam, Jordan, Amanda, Joe and all the team for creating such a great environment to exercise and to know your body. Give it a try, this place is awesome !They are so easy to work with, cancel your membership anytime (which I believe you will not unless you are moving out of state). Totally worth it, try it, you are gonna love it.”

“It's small, but it has just everything you need to get a good workout. It's always clean, and the members are respectful of others, i.e., they wipe the equipment and return the weights to the rack after use.”

“Switching to Retro Fitness from Crunch has been a terrific decision. The standout aspect for me is the gym's cleanliness, a refreshing change from my previous gym. Alongside this, the variety of equipment available is impressive, ensuring no waiting times and a smooth workout experience. What really enhances the experience at Retro Fitness is the friendly staff. They are always welcoming and helpful, adding a personal touch to each visit. In summary, Retro Fitness excels with its clean environment, diverse equipment, and warm staff, making it a superior choice compared to my past experiences at other gyms.”

“i’ve dropped into a lot of gyms and this one by FAR wins!! i drop into chimney rock about once a year. all of the coaches are extremely kind and welcoming and GOOD at their jobs! ready to scale for what your body needs and give great coaching cues. the members are also so outgoing and quick to introduce themselves to you! if you’re looking for a new gym, i would highly recommend this one, and if you’re dropping in, this is the place to be!!”

“Fantastic facilities inside what looks like an old building. The basket ball court is great and so is the weights room. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. This is open only to Rutgers University students, faculty and staff. This is one of several gymnasiums that Rutgers University has but this is probably the only one on College Avenue campus.”

“This has been my gym for the past 4 months and I really enjoy it ! It is a very beginner friendly gym. The crowd is not judgmental at all. I am a heavier woman and never once did I feel judged by the workers or patrons of the gym which is amazing. This plays a huge role in a person wanting to be consistent at the gym! I like to get my workout done at night so when I go it is usually pretty packed. The downside to this is that this is a small gym so equipment and machines can wind up taken pretty quickly which could delay your workout but you gotta just be patient. If you avoid peak gym hours you will have a better chance to get to all the equipment you need. The women's bathroom is always clean. I also really enjoy the sauna. My only problem with the sauna is that sometimes the temperature is inconsistent. Overall I highly recommend this spot. You might outgrow it eventually but this is a good place to start your fitness goals.”
