This gym is cool. Really big with tons of machines. They have a towel policy that is nice since your enforcing everyone to not sweat all over the nice and expensive machines. The staff are genuine and nice. Front desk always greets you when you come in and when I forgot my towel they gave me one. Overall I'm thinking about joining before the new year but still want to checkout other places before committing. Now things I didn't like.... The music was LOUD and played a lot of mix matched music and old rock. I wear big JBL head phones and I can still hear it through there. Next, it seems kind of too bright in the gym but that can be just me since the last gym I was at in NYC had that dark vibe with LED lights. It got really crowded around 6-7PM but not so much of a problem for the gym but I had a few older guys approach me to ask me how many sets I had left. I think I can get past that. Overall it can be 5 stars if the ambient vibe was addressed.

Has the potential to be the best gym in NJ but is deficient in some areas that can be an easy fix. The worst is the music. Not only is it too loud but the music choice is terrible. You will hear whiney Nirvana one song and the next song will be Hansen. How difficult is it to put neutral workout music. Spotify has workout stations that are non intrusive. Even facilities like retro fitness figured it out, music should be in the background and not in your face. The gym is in a beautiful location. In a semi rural with natural woodlands. With big windows the view can be pleasing. BUT in their ultimate wisdom they tint the beautiful windows. They block the natural light and put bright florescent lighting. It feels like working out in a bright fluorescent dungeon. The design and color scheme of the gym is attractive. But the back workout room has dozens of dozens of small pictures lined up over the mirrors of half naked male body builder It cheapens the overall feel of the gym. It feels like I'm working out in a dingy basement not in an upscale gym. Also in the backroom has tvs that constantly show bodybuilding and powerlifting channels. Know thy customer. 90% of your clientele don't care about bodybuilding or power lifting. Put some news, cartoons, mix it up. The positives are the staff and fitness equipment is top notch. Staff is obsessive in making sure the gym is clean and equipment is always working. Customer service is on point. Parking is super easy. Location is superb, rt 34 rarely has traffic. An added bonus is classes are down upstairs in what almost feels like a private studio. With a lot more competition in the area. I feel like they make minor changes it will truly be the best gym in NJ

Open early, open late. All the equipment you could want to use and more. Couldn't ask for more. Clientele ranges from casual fitness folks to bodybuilders and powerlifters. Atmosphere is great, no matter what. Highly recommended.

They try to just have customers join them. Never explain the Contract language in fine print and because of that you might have to continue paying them for many more additional months since you signed so in the contract. Be careful when young kids are joining as they never see those things.

The seminar was okay about nutrition. The instructor never gave examples on how he lost the weight or any examples of which one can eat for breakfast,lunch or dinner.Also to join the gym is way overpriced. They don't have any swimming or basketball courts, but want you to pay a minimum of $50.00 monthly.

Absolutely great gym although on the expensive side it is completely worth it and one of the best in the area for sure the equipment is state of the art the staff are great the people are friendly 10/10 couldn’t ask for more

Been going to this gym since Stu opened and have had nothing but an amazing experience. Juana and the whole housekeeping crew do an amazing job of keeping the place spotless. Jess, Dana, Liam and all other front desk attendants are kind and considerate constantly offering help from workouts to nutrition. All of the trainers I have trained with are so knowledgable and the owners do a good job of keeping friendly staff. Mo has offered me tips and tricks since the day I started. There are 3 main areas for workout space... never too crowded. Even throughout the pandemic, Stu has done an excellent job-- he was one of the only (if not the only) person to move the whole gym outside. Needless to say, I am very happy w/ my membership.#peloton #fitness #ovox #training #liftnj

My first time at a new gym couldn’t have went smoother. Great atmosphere with great staff. Highly recommend trying their classes as well, as they have quite a lot to offer especially during these times. Some gyms have borderline removed all of their offerings besides the main gym, but OVOX has definitely won me over with the sheer amount of personalization that they let you have over your workouts!

Outstanding facility and staff! Every employee I have interacted with has been extraordinarily professional, helpful, and welcoming. The gym is clean, well equipped and totally unintimidating. I recommend Ovox highly!
