I highly recommend A Step Ahead Preschool for any parent that is looking for great people to look after their young children at their most vulnerable age. Ms. Holly and staff are absolutely the BEST! They treat our children like their own and will have all 3 of my children go through A Step Ahead Preschool. There is no better place for your children and would recommend to any parent looking for a preschool in the area.

A Step Ahead Preschool is one of those really rare small preschools that you spend forever looking for. We are sooo thrilled that we were recommended to check out this school for our preschoolers. We started our oldest here at 25 months old and they completely changed her life (and ours). In just the first year, she went from speaking 1 word, to reciting the entire alphabet, counting 1-13 out loud, reading words on signs (and wherever we go), also counting by 10's, AND she can name every shape. This all happened in a few short months after nearly being a silent child. Our daughter was once scared to leave our sides and now she also shows an incredible amount of confidence in herself. She also completes simple tasks such as putting on her socks, shoes, jackets, gloves and hats. I love that this school is a traditional and Montesorri hybrid, it's the perfect school. Most importantly, the owner of the school Holly is just the SWEETEST person. The teachers are INCREDIBLY kind, caring and warm. They are always willing to help, be flexible, and everything is communicated flawlessly. I know that this was not an easy task with Covid, yet they managed Covid perfectly and kept us all happy and healthy! Also, emails and texts are super clear and Holly does a fantastic job keeping us all updated with fun events and anything we need to know. She truly cares about safety, and also the happiness of each child and family. Can't say enough great things! So happy!

I can not say enough great things about AStepAhead preschool. My son has attended there for three years for preschool and summer camp there. The staff is so beyond amazing I only wish my children could have went there longer. Everyone is so warm and loving and you can tell how much they deeply care for all their students, as if they were their own. My son learned so much and went from barely speaking to writing and speaking so well. They made every activity a fun learning experience and not once did my children not want to go or not wake up excited knowing they were off to AStepAhead. I am so grateful that my son had a place to go when the rest of the world shut down for Covid. I knew that he was safe and the school was taking every precaution to keep their students and staff safe from the virus. I just want to thank Holly for the comfort I had sending my then 2 year old to school for the first time. He became a well rounded child and made life long friends and I will cherish the experience and memories always.

I would like to respond to your "Covid like symptoms" comment. 1) you don't mandate kids to wear masks in your school and I know this because my child didn't. 2) when we consulted a physician and reading the state guidelines you need to have more than 2 symptoms to be sent home. 3) my child was sent home for fever that by doctors all over the world don't constitute as having a fever. 4) We take Covid very seriously and protecting my kids and other children is a responsibility of every parent. If my child was sick I would have no issue keeping him home. I do that now for both of my kids but when a school tries to make excuses and send a kid home because their parent decides to pull them out of their care is bullying. And not an ethical way to do business. In addition, your school offers An after care program. There is a price attached to it. I requested the after care for my child. First I was told to put him for aftercare on different days than what I wanted because your school had other kids enrolled those days. Ummm ok you understand that aftercare is requested based on the parents needs. I was told that for a couple of weeks the school could only offer it for 2 days and once they were able to find staff they can do the 4 days I requested. Then I was told he's they were able to find someone to stay the additional days but I would have to pay the teacher $20 bucks an hour per day. As a business how does that make sense. You offer a 2,3 and 5 day program at a specific rate. Just because you have one kid doesn't mean you place the cost of running your business on the parent because you don't have enough kids enrolled. That's not how business is run. Ans my final thought you are a daycare/school. When enrolling kids that need help with potty training be prepared or staff up if needed. Telling a parent that it's an inconvenience to ask your staff to take a child to use the potty during playtime is not ok nor is slapping on a diaper. I don't care how long you may have been in business the point is you did many things that were wrong. If you mistreat one child and one parent that shoukd be enough for you to look at the ways you are operating and running your school. You are taking care of the most precious thing in a parents life and clearly you are not the school to be trusted with that. And when my child left on his last day he definitely was neglected because he had a bruise on his eye. I texted Holly about a lot of things and the fact that I have it in writing you will refund me the $$ for days missed your school chose to not send me the check. It's ok clearly your school needs it more than I do. Keep it!

Most definitely would recommend this preschool!!! Such an amazing experience!!! My child attends this school and me and my husband couldn't be happier! My child has learned so much in the time being there! At 3 my child was spelling his name!!! The school is small but that's what I love about it! Holly and her staff are extremely friendly and personable. I actually am so trusting of them I asked one of them to babysit my child! I love this school and highly recommend it! When I seen someone give a one star I knew I had to step in and defend this school. Holly and her staff do not deserve that after all the hard work they do everyday to provide and care for my child and their students. I do have Hollys phone number and whenever I have a question or concern she does get right back to me. I understand she runs a school and is teaching so I do not expect her to get back within seconds. Not one parent with children attending this school that I have talked to have anything negative to say, only positive. During break all my child is saying is "Mommy I go back to school tomorrow right?" "Mommy I miss my teachers" I love to hear this because I know I made the right choice placing my child in this school.

My 2 oldest have attended A Step Ahead for the past 4 years and I can’t recommend them enough! Their environment fosters learning and creativity and both kids have just blossomed there. The 1 on 1 academic portion has really helped my daughter excel in preparation for kindergarten and Ms. Robin’s arts and crafts projects are amazing and adorable keepsakes!

I am so happy that my son was able to grow in such a warm nurturing school. From the minute I interviewed this school I knew this school was where I wanted my son to be. I feel that my son is well prepared for kindergarten. I highly recommend A Step Ahead Preschool.

My son, now first grader, went to Step Ahead Preschool Inc as a preschooler. Ms. Lynn and her team are fantastic! My son had the best time here. He loved the Show and Tell sessions every week. Ms.Lynn's personal attention is key here. She has a structured set up where kids get to learn and play everyday. Thanks to the strong phonic and math foundation skills that he learnt here, he continues to be a top student in his class. The best part is Ms. Lynn works with parents and gives the right guidance and helps parents reinforce the concepts better at home. I cannot thank her enough for teaching my son to be positive, confident and outgoing.

I have two children currently enrolled at A Step Ahead. This is their second year there. The school is a perfect fit for our family. The class sizes are small so Ms. Lynn is able to give each child individualized attention. My son is already reading and my 3 year old is getting close! The kids love going to school each day!

My daughter spent over 2 years with Ms Lynn, she matured a lot, under her guidance. She was a shy introverted child .she is now outgoing and a very good reader and loves jigsaw puzzles. I total credit the staff at step ahead. They brought out the very best in her both socially and academically.I highly recommend the school. They are also small and have a very personal touch that kids need as pre- schoolers.

When my son first joined A Step Ahead, he could speak a few words of English, under Ms.Lynn's he has come a long way. The kids have a well structured wholesome day with a variety of creative activities. There is a strong emphasis on reading and my son has become a voracious reader. The staff under Ms.Lynn do a fantastic job of taking care of the children. We plan to enroll our second child in A Step Ahead soon.

Look no further than Ms. Lynn and A Step Ahead Preschool! We have sent two children there, and we have nothing but praise and confidence in Ms. Lynn and her teaching methods. Our children are always excited to go to school, and their learning experience is truly "A Step Ahead". If you want the best preschool education for your children, this is the place, bar none! She not only works on their reading, writing and arithmetic, but the kids do so much arts and crafts and are still learning during these activities. Thank you Ms. Lynn for being truly awesome!!!
