“After a long drive from Toronto, Ontario to Maplewood, my car developed a muffler problem. I scheduled an appointment for the next day and the staff at the Maplewood Meineke Car Centre could not been more prompt, professional and courteous! “I have been going to De Finis for about a year now. It isn't always easy to find a service shop that I can feel comfortable is going to be straight up with any issues or service needed. I drop off in the morning, it's ready in the afternoon. I feel confident on the rare occasion that I need additional service that it's legit, as opposed to a lot of other places. “Amanda was a really good car associate very friendly and helpful ! Went to go get my loaner car there were issues I had to wait for people to stop doing what they were doing to help me !! Got a nasty text from the loaner dept claiming my car had been finished and I’d be charged 250+ if I didn’t get my car really when Amanda had not notified me my car was finished not right treatment of customers !! My car was worked on well and I loved the text video !! Otherwise very good service from Amanda and the mechanic ! Loaner and finance dept needs some customer care skills in my opinion ! My car needed new tires so I brought it in and they also found that there were some serious problems with the axle, etc. (which explained why the car wasn't handling properly)After detailing the repairs, the mechanic identified which had to be done ASAP and offered to postpone others so I wouldn't have a huge bill. I really appreciated that.What really impressed me was the mechanic at the end of the day. When I came to pick up my car, it was still up on the lift so he invited me in and explained the work that had been done. He explained it clearly and respectfully (I've dealt with some mansplaining mechanics in my day). It was clear that he really enjoyed his job.”
