Great place to find designer pieces at good prices also a good place to consign!

**Not a consignor, only a shopper**I popped in out of curiosity as an avid thrift/consignment shopper, and couldn’t last more than 4 minutes in this store. Absolutely impossible to navigate with bags of consignment goods strewn all over the floor. Forget coming here if you’re disabled or old and need assistance walking. The store is messy, lots of stained items, and definitely much more expensive for the same brands as Squan Dry Goods, which is a block or two away.

We would give HOUSE OF STYLE a ZeroDo not go there. The owner Millie is a Lier and a cheat. We brought in over two thousand dollars' worth of new designer clothing most of which still had the tickets on them as they were brand new and never worn. One item alone with ticket was almost $500.00 There weremany other items including a cashmere finger- tip jacket . We took pictures of these items prior to bring them into the consignment store. We advised Millie that I was having surgery and could not pick up clothing that did not sell in 60 days and she advised just to call as to when we could come in. I went there after 60 days and was told that our clothes that did not sell was donated and she only sold a few items We looked through the store carefully and found 2 items still hanging in the store. If everything was donated there should not have been any items left. We asked who she donated the clothing to and could not get a straight answer and Millie got very defensive and nasty and she advised us that she was too busy to discuss this any further. We called her on the phone the following week and she advised that she had sold a few more items and offered to send us a check for $45.00 . Our question now is if she really donated all the items as she said, where did she magically get these items . As of today we never got the check for $45.00 and we will be taking this to the Better Business Bureau if we do not get our check soon. Very shady operation

The lady with long black hair is so nasty and rude to customers! Place smells like old lady hairspray over priced garbage! Don’t shop there! Go to Arnold Avenue instead !

Do not shop here. The clerk was terrible rude to a customer and insulted her right in front of other customers. I will never go back.

Consignor beware. I have been consigning with this place for a few years and I've never made more than $20-$30 on 2+ bags I've dropped off at a time. Should have been a red flag but I didn't really let it bother me bc I wanted to get rid of it. The latest interaction was the last straw. She sold a $500 Marc Jacobs bag for "$20" and I received $10. Why it was priced $20 is beyond me and I have to wonder if that's what it actually sold for. I'll echo the review that says you're better off setting your stuff on fire. I've also witnessed the owner and clerk being extremely rude to shoppers. Finally, I'd beware of the higher end bags, specifically Louis Vuitton, some of them are fake, cannot be verified and not authentic.

I had the most unpleasant and offensive experience today by the owner of the consignment store House of Style in Manasquan. I had seen a Louis Vuitton monogram bum bag behind the counter, I asked to see the bag and the price I was told $1800 when I asked the sales clerk for receipt or proof of authenticity she asked me to give the bag back and called the owner, Millie to the front of the store. She informed me she did not have the receipt and to give her until next day to talk to the consignee to see if she had the receipt. I went back to purchase the bag and was informed that she had done her research still did not have receipt or proof of authenticity explained to me that there was a no return policy not even for authenticity and now the bag went up in price to $2500 if I wanted to buy it. This is unprofessional and both the sales clerk and the owner where very rude, took the bag back behind the curtain and told me they would not sell it to ME. Then the owner turned around and proceeded to tell me to get out of the store, that my "kind" was not welcome in her store. She pursued me out to the street screaming that my kind was not welcome there. I have purchased many high end designer bags in the US and abroad and have never had this happen over a receipt, and then the price goes up too! When I went home and read the reviews I understood I was not the first person this happened to. So buyer beware. PS - shady and a liar and tried to intimidate me with one of her employees jumping out of the curtain yelling at me to leave. The reviews of this business speak for themselves.

They are thieves. Period. I consigned a bag full of items and was told to wait for a receipt in email. Never came. I called and called. Never heard back. Fast forward to two years later (I don't live in the area), I just got a response due to an instagram comment. They are sending me $129 for thousands of dollars in clothing. Do not consign with these people. They are thieves 100%. I overheard another client with a similar issue and should have listened. Thieves. For sure!

BEWARE! You leave all your belongings there without getting a receipt that would indicate what youre handing over and how many items youre leaving at this womans store. This didnt sit well with me since I was consigning a large amount of designer clothing. There were 10 or more items that went missing . She went from really sweet to really nasty upon bringing this to her attention. Of course, I had no proof bc she purposely doesnt provide any. But i made a record of what I brought there. Sadly, I thought the store would be run more professionally because it was in Manasquan. The owner is super shady and the customers shopping there were seedy. This store doesnt belong in Manasquan. Consign with a more reputable place online etc. This place should be closed down. CROOK

some of the staff are snotty and one time I came in after being someone who consigned with them for a long time and the woman at the counter blew me off, even though she was already helping me, to help a man who came in with a fur coat. Will not return there.

Millie is great. We don't live locally, but visit the store frequently as we have a vacation home nearby. Bring your high end items like Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Prada here to have it sold on consignment like TheRealReal, but better.
