New to the neighborhood.
Employee was rude about shopping cart, even though it was my 1st time there and when I saw the sign no carts, I left it at the door. Wanted to buy 1/2 case of wine, but bought 5 bottles because that's all I could carry.
Plenty of liquor stores will allow a small shopping cart and excellent customer service. Admonishing attitude was truly disappointing for such a small errand I often do in Hillsdale or Washington twp without issue. First time I have written a negative review for anything.
UPDATE:
I have since returned to mahwah wine and liquors and had a fabulous experience. Maybe my first visit was just a bad day. Service and help was so good my second visit that I will definitely be returning. Thank you for making me feel welcome!

I come in when I need to pick something up when I'm in a pinch. The service is good and the selections are adequate but a bit overpriced. The store is clean and organized.

Good selection for the size - if you're looking for a very specific brand, they may not have it, but the staff is knowledgeable and friendly and will give you great recommendations based on what you like. Prices are decent - might be slightly more than what you'd pay at a big liquor outlet chain, but I never waste money on alcohol I don't like because their picks are always good. Don't come here for a 30 pack of cheap beer, come here with an open mind to try something interesting. Great neighborhood store!
