I ordered and paid for 3,000 lbs of rubber playground mulch. Unfortunately I only received 2,000 lbs. I contacted Rubberecycle and spoke with Danny. He said that he would get a hold of the delivery service (Estes) to find out what happened and would get back to me. 4 days later and no response. I called again and left a voicemail. No response. Several other calls and no call back or response from Danny or anyone else. Be prepared to get ripped off if you order from this company.

Got loaded in 2 1/2 hours. If your appointment is on the weekend, make sure you call about 30-45 mins before arriving. They do not operate on Sat. or Sun. but will send out a crew to load you. Easy to find, just follow the signs to the loading dock, located in the middle, between Emgee Stone & NJPD Plumbing.

I want to warn about buying rubber mulch from this manufacturer (Playsafer Brand, RubbeRecycle company). I purchased 6000 lbs of mulch (3 big bags - 2000lbs/bag). This mulch was being purchased for an autism center playground. The playground is a secured area where only the children from the center can access.Problem 1: When the shipment arrived one of the super sacks was shipped on an old pallet that completely broke down where a fork truck or a hand pallet jack could not be used. It took the crew of three another 3 hrs of work to remove the super sack from the truck and manually transport all of the rubber mulch to the playground. I called the manufacturer and they took no ownership of this problem.Problem 2: METAL EMBEDDED IN THE MUCH - The first day we used our new playground one of the staff was smoothing out a dip in the mulch and got stuck in the finger by a thin metal wire that was embedded in the mulch. Just so it is clear, the sharp metal wire had one end embedded in the mulch and the other end was stuck in his finger. Again, the manufacturer was contacted and they took no ownership of this problemProblem 3: SHARP LOOSE METAL PIECES IN THE MULCH - On the third day of using the playground another staff person brought in three dime sized metal fragments that was found in the mulch. Again, the manufacturer was contacted and they said that there product was 99.9% metal free and took no ownership of this problem.I have photos of the metal pieces and I wish there was a way I could upload these so everyone could see the type of metal in the rubber mulch. This product and company should get ZERO stars.
