Terrible experience here. Paid for residential delivery. 18 wheeler shows up no lift gate. Delivery driver refused to assist. At no time during the process did anybody ever state a lift gate delivery wasn't available. They responded initially to my complaint but never followed up. I realize that the delivery is out of AMVANS hands but there lack of concern regarding it is telling. But wait there's more ! I unboxed my shipment to find that i received 1 incorrect shelf unit (no back). I emailed to try and resolve it. I received no response. I had to tell them i was going to begin a charge reversal since i was being ignored. I then received a response. As of this writing i still have not received a refund for the incorrect product delivery. Solid product but horrible customer service. We have 20 more vans to upfit but we won't be using AMVAN!

Paul was great to work with. He was very good with communicating and getting back with the right information. Rob helped with the installation part and ensure it was done in a timely manner.

Cheap, poor design and flimsy.Not flag hr friendly. My guys don't want to touch it and for good reason.By the time you re-align the factory assembled shelving and drawers as so their bolts will actually go thru the pre-designed holes after you decide where you want the universal kits to go.Might as well get raw materials and build as you go. Won't be much different.Again many other products available. I would group this quality with Amazon or Ikeas lower tier products. Just as a comparison.Will not use this brand again.I refuse to move forward and Customer is seeking another option.Cannot pay me enough to deal with the nonsense IKEA set.Oh cannot forget the Cheapest drawer slider design i have ever seen. Nice retaining tabs. Have fun with that nonsense.

I strongly recommend not to use them. I ordered a partition and was told by their employee on the phone it would be easy to install with a friend on the weekend. After the receiving the partition we tried to install according to the instructions and learned they are not correct. They are almost totally useless. They caused me to damage my van multiple times and we had to pretty much make up our instructions. My kids have legos and they are always correct. Plus they are better quality and they give extra parts. American Van sends you nuts and bolts that strip super easy and don’t even send the correct amount. Also legos don’t get installed in a $40,000 dollar van. I will never use them again and recommend to use another company.

It was an online order with the help of Daisy in the chat box. I needed a PV installation kit and asked what the difference was between the pv-12 and the pv-14. I was told the difference was 12' cables vrs 14' cables. I ordered the and paid for the 14. I received the 12.David Lang refused to correct the situation saying all he would do is refund me. I pointed out that all I wanted was the 4' of wire they owed me. He couldn't be bothered. He emailed me rma with a return label.. I told him that was pretty awful for a place that advertises they customize installation kits for you. I guess they are too busy this time of year and can't be bothered. I took my business elsewhere

Extremely professional outfit!!! Absolutely loved there new showroom layout. Setting up my dirt bike race trailer with there aluminum shelving/slide out and setting up my construction trailer with accessories. Thank you guys for hooking me up and look forward to getting some more goodies for dump trailer and travel trailer.Dave Frank

Product is great, customer service when you arrive is atrocious. Waiting 30 minutes to get someone so I can pay. Then was told to go to the loading dock. I’m writing this at the loading dock. 30 minutes sitting here. No one’s come to help me. Still here waiting to pick up. Elapsed time 1 hour and still nothing.An order that was prepped for pick up and scheduled. This is insane. Spend all this money

We have now upfitted two company vans with their equipment. The products themselves are great, but the company they use to ship is atrocious. With our first van, the equipment got to Phoenix and stayed there for a week, then went past us and up to Flagstaff, then a few days later back down to Prescott. Shelves arrived all banged up. I had to use a mallet to get it back into usable condition. I wasn’t going to dare to return it and go through the shipping nightmare again. Fast forward a year, we have a second van to upfit. Placed another order with American Van and now dealing with the same exact thing with the shipping. Meanwhile, our van sits and waits for this order to arrive so we can get it out on the road and producing. Learned my lesson and from now on will use Adrian Steele where we can get the products locally and even installed at a very reasonable price.

Don’t buy from this guys! I just made and order for over 2k and I received the wrong hardware so now I have to Wait at least one more week to be able to install this partition.

Had two absolutely horrible experiences with this company. The first experience was ordering shelving in a partition for an nv200. First I was told everything was in stock and ready to go I sent my driver down to pick up the order they do not have it. I was then told it would be 2 weeks. 4 Weeks later I had to pick up my stuff and it was not even assembled.Thinking this was a fluke I tried to give them more business and ordered a second set of shelving and partition for another Nissan nv200. Was again till 2 weeks at three and a half weeks still did not have my items. Finally they called me and said well the shelves are ready but the partition is not and that they didn't even have the raw materials to build the partition. I am now a month and a half out and I was told that I missed my pickup on the partition and that is now on back order for another 3 weeks.After complete frustration with this company I will order from a more expensive vendor before I ever give them another piece of my business.

I got some shelving from there and they were quick. I told them which ones I wanted and were I wanted it and they made my vision come to life . Gave them my keys sat back and watched a movie and in no time they where finished. Highly recommend anyone that needs there van shelved to choose American Van.

Issue that needs to be looked into. Shipping under incognito mode is less than shipping when logged into account. I tried this out with several items and I feel that this is unethical since those with accounts are repeat clients. In one instance shipping was $490 compared to $320. Other instances shipping different was less than $30, so that isn’t much of a problem. The item in question has been ordered two other times and shipping has always been $180. Will no longer be using the account.
