Joseph was amazing! he worked hard and was very careful with all of our belongings! He was especially attentive to making sure the walls and floors weren’t scratched. He went above and beyond what he needed to do!

Avoid this company at all costs! Terrible experience and dishonest business practices. We hired Zip to move our stuff from 2BR apartment in Queens to NYC after we had researched and gotten quotes from other companies. Zip had good reviews (which we now realize are NOT accurate) and a relatively lower cost estimate.
Movers did show up on time for the move day which seemed promising but then it all fell apart from there. We requested full packing, so the movers looked at the apartment and said it would take 6 hours. Our initial estimated labor time was 8 hours, which we had relied upon to finish our move within the day. We left them to work on packing, and 6 hours later we go back and there were many items that were still unpacked and needing to be loaded. Our move-in building requires that movers finish using the elevator by 4:30 PM after which there is no longer access to the elevator. Realizing that the movers had not finished packing and it was now 2:30 PM, I had to jump in and start moving and loading items WITH the movers (I have never hired movers and ended up having to help do the work of moving).
Finally, they arrive at the move-in building, and my wife is waiting and has to help them unload because we are racing against the clock. We also have an infant that needs to be taken care of, yet we are both having to help move things in order to try and finish. It’s now 5:30 PM, and we no longer have access to the elevator and many of our belongings are still in the truck. This is when the workers now demand payment or threaten that they will not unload the remaining items. They quote TWO TIMES the cost of the initial estimate, and they say this is because it took longer and they needed more packing. We saw how they packed and noticed that they were very inefficient – shrink wrapping things like floor mats multiple times as if these mats were somehow precious cargo yet they did not shrink wrap some of our more valuable items. Keep in mind, these packing materials are all part of the final cost. So they can use excessive packing materials if they like and then pass the charge to you (2 times the cost).
We finally end up simply paying the movers because they are holding our items hostage and refusing to give them to us until we pay. However, the items have to be moved to the basement of our building and then WE need to retrieve all of them (requiring many trips back and forth). The company offered to bring movers 3 days later, but we said we cannot wait and need our belongings so we moved them ourselves. They should have brought more movers, but instead they are forcing customers to suffer a terrible experience and then UPCHARGE them for it. They did not even finish the move, yet charged us MORE. So, in summary, stay away from this company! Go with any of the numerous other moving companies and save yourself the headache.

Used these guys for my move a couple months back within the same town, literally in the next building and was the most harrowing experience I could imagine. Was told I would have a crew of 3 people for 2 hours, but one out of the 3 people spent more than half his time just “documenting and filling out paperwork, while the other 2 frequently took smoke breaks while on clock. Shower up without a single dolly or cart and had to use the carts provided by the building last minute. Asked them not to worry about the smaller stuff and just focus on the furniture since they were falling behind, they insisted they could get everything done, took all the stuff to bring it to the bottom of the new building and then threatened to leave if not paying for the 3rd hour while we were still within our 2nd. Spent a long 20-30 minutes calling his office and arguing again after which when we tipped the other 2 guys who were actually doing all the work, he took their tip and converted it to an additional hour of pay and refused to leave the building. Got no support from the guys who helped us make the booking and this guy refused to leave the apartment. Sent a long text to the owners the next day and has been a couple months still no response or even an apology. Felt extremely hostile and unsafe and would highly recommend against them.

If I could give zero stars, that still wouldn’t be low enough of a rating. I booked a move several weeks in advance and the move was confirmed when I booked it and the day prior. However, a time slot was not provided to me so I was packed, ready to go and waiting by 8am. Six hours pass and nobody shows up and nobody calls. I call at 2pm and was told they were supposed to be there at 2pm. They call me back saying they will be there by 4pm. 4pm comes and goes, nobody shows up and nobody calls me. I call back several times and I finally get told they will be there by 6pm. 6pm comes and goes and still no truck and still nobody calls me. I call back several times yet again and get told they are there and when I try explaining to them they aren’t, that they are at the wrong apartment complex, they hang up on me. After I call in several more times asking for a supervisor, all supervisors and managers are conveniently out of the office. The truck finally shows up at 7pm, 5 hours late, after I called in about a dozen times.
They then damage my dresser legs so it doesn’t stand up anymore as they unload it into my home. They tried charging me $175 for plastic wrap which I refused. Then they charge me almost $700 for moving 16 items one town over, just 20 minutes away. And that is after a pathetic $29 discount for being 5 hours late.
I have called and emailed so many times asking for a supervisor or the owner to contact me without them doing so.
These people do NOT know how to run a company. They didn’t do a single thing right. Nobody at this company has a single ounce of professionalism, responsibility, communication, common courtesy, or accountability. Stay away from this company, what should have been an easy day, turned into a stressful, costly nightmare because of them mismanaging every aspect of the move.

Arsen, George, and Zura were absolutely fantastic. Really helped us out and even did it through the rain. Couldn’t be happier and highly recommend them.

The guys were great. Friendly. Careful. Respectful.
I had them moving furniture in my home so I can't speak for location to location moves.
Some things I was not aware of:
Cash deals (what I did) need to be paid up front.
The gentlemen were for the country of Georgia so communicating was difficult but doable.
All in all I would use them again and do recommend.
I want to add this was a booking on a Saturday afternoon for a Monday morning job so they accommodated my needs.

I can honestly say Zip to Zip was a fantastic moving company in every respect, and that opinion doesn’t come lightly for me.
In the past, my wife and I haven’t had the best of luck with movers with issues between overcharging for “misc.” items, broken belongings, lack of ability to move basic furniture without extra help, et cetera.
George and his crew were communicative, efficient, very quick, upfront about everything involved in the move from their professional perspective, and very forgiving for me not knowing exactly the quantity of items or distance they would have to be moved. It felt like the family experience, but a family that took their position very seriously.
I’d gladly recommend them to family and friends and plan to use them moving forward! Pun fully intended.

These guys (3 of them) worked there butts off in 95 degree heat with high humidity. And never skipped a beat.eveything they packed was well protected and in perfect condition upon arrival. I would definitely recommend these folks for your next move.

George and his team were absolutely amazing from the moment he called to let me know how far they were. Worked extremely hard and efficient communicated throughout the entire move couldn’t have asked for more thank you so much will recommend to everyone I know that needs a move.
